I have been to a couple of zoos this year. The Zoobic Safari is the second, but I will be blogging about it first because I want to save the best for last. XD
As we waited for everyone to check out, I used the time to walk around the resort on broad daylight. The first time I did was on the first night and I could barely see and appreciate the place. Further post on the resort will be in Tulugan (hopefully very soon!).
Around 10AM, we headed to Zoobic Safari that is about 20 minutes away from the resort.
The zoo is, surprisingly, quite big. Some parts would be best toured by vehicle instead of by foot.
After the zoo, we sound our “S” with “Z” or end most of our words with it. DX Ugh~ I blame the souvenir shops.
There were two from our group that were left in the resort, so the bus had to come back for them. While we waited, I took pictures of all the tigers in the main waiting area or cabin.
Our first stop was the aviary. They have lots of birdies and I (with Doy) even got to feed parakeets. They took pictures of us doing so, but I didn’t get a single copy from them. =_=
Distanced myself from this one
They like to be petted. 🙂
They got a turkey friend inside their pen
For those who dislike reptiles, maybe you should skip this part. 🙂
We took a short break with ice cream and we headed to where we could feed the tigers.
Then we got up-close to the tigers. We still can’t pet them though. Tsk.
The alligators was our last stop.
That’s the last picture I have from the trip because I got tired and lazy. The whole set is up in my Flickr.
The way home went faster since I spent most of the time sleeping. Oh, we did a little bit of shopping and I got mostly sweets. 😀 I regret not getting a lot of seaweed chips though.
I’m grateful that the group had a budget for our entrance fee. 😀 Zoobic Safari is worth a visit if you happen to be in Subic. Feeding the tigers is a must-experience among their other activities. Get more information on Zoobic Safari from their website.
