Taking a break from tagging (0 Comments)
I’ve been tagging my Dad’s mp3s for days. -_- For days, meaning, it’s a LOT of mp3s. I’m getting tired of it, so I should resume tagging some other time especially those assorted ones (not in albums, if you know what I mean.) I’ve been thinking of what to do next. There’s a lot, but I should list down what I should finish first. Hmm…

Damn YouTube, “Greenade” results, + meme (3 Comments)
YouTube deleted one of the videos I uploaded. ~_~ It was getting a lot of hits and comments. Now it’s gone. XP Whoever reported the video should be whacked. I want to use my VOX account as a permanent place to upload videos (like where I usually post scans of artbooks, photobooks, etc.), but YouTube’s where everyone is! GRR~
I got the scans from my films about 2 weeks ago. Just got my lazy ass to edit (only adjust the brightness & contrast) and upload some of the pictures recently. ^_^

I am not too happy with the results. Most of them came out too dark.
But at least I know what my mistakes are and to do better next time. The only good thing is that 15 out of 16 shots came out. :DDD Here’s a handwriting meme I saw from hisaki’s LJ. ^^ I wasn’t tagged, but I wanted to do it. *lol*

Events/Places to go to, Beckham (5 Comments)
Is Manila Ocean Park already open? It says on their site that they will open this December 2007, but haven’t read or heard of anyone who have been there.
When I first heard about the Trinoma Blogger Food Tour, I didn’t have second thoughts and quickly signed up. *lol* I’m the 59th person in their list btw. Where there’s free food, I’M IN! XD The only person I know online who’s going to there is dementia. Anyone else I’m acquainted with online who’s going? I was getting very excited for tomorrow when they rescheduled it to January. On a Wednesday even. FUCK!!! It would have been fine because I have no review class on a Wednesday, but if there are paperworks to rush then I might miss this. *sighs* I wish they still scheduled it on a Thursday.
Multiply’s site is so slow lately. XP VOX, on the other hand, seems to be down at the moment. But it could be just my connection being an ass again. GRR~

Blogs + Multiply vs VOX (4 Comments)
I unsubscribed some journals from my Google Reader. Reasons:
1. I’m too busy right now to read them.
2. I found other blogs that are more interesting than theirs.
3. Comments are just one-way.
4. I’m tired of reading entries that aren’t really for or about themselves, but because they blog for others.
5. They didn’t update for months.
Further explanations:
For #3, I comment at some of their posts, but they NEVER do with mine. I’m not expecting people I leave comments with to do the same with mine. I only find that leaving comments and visiting blogs are a way to meet people or make new online buddies. Heh~ I guess my blog’s way below their standards? I know my posts are very uninteresting, but I try. I should firmly believe that not everyone’s like me… Someone who’s very open-minded and would read about various things.
For #4, I think some of you already know what I mean. Those are usually the sort of people have the tendency to stop blogging because they feel no one’s reading their blog/s. *lol* Alright, enough about the blog dramas “and assumptions.” XD Yesterday, my parents and I sorted through some of our cabinets to look for stuff we don’t need anymore. We almost cleared out the whole drawer under my closet. *lol* We’ll have a garage sale this Friday in Merville. I was told it’s the holiday, so it would be great if you guys would check out our stuff. I’m planning on putting most of them online. I’m still debating whether to put them in Multiply or VOX. I also have another ads site, but it’s mostly for my anime, dramas, and other media stuff. I am confused. I don’t have much time to think since the garage sale is this coming Friday already. Let’s see if I can choose among the two if I make a list of their advantages and disadvantages.
Multiply’s advantages:
1. More Philippine-based sellers and buyers tread there.
2. Pictures can be uploaded through email
3. Then pictures can be sorted by album and tags.
4. There are other features than just blogs and photo albums.
5. There are active groups for Philippine-based sellers and buyers.
Multiply’s disadvantages:
1. The pre-made templates aren’t my type.
2. Pictures do not show 95-99% of the time when I embed some in my blog.
3. Non-Multiply users can’t comment.
4. Instead of automatically placing the “description” of the picture, it becomes the “title.” I would have to fix that one by one if that happens. (People who are OC with their pictures might know what I mean. *lol* )
VOX’s advantages:
1. They have more templates choices.
2. Places the description of the picture in the “description” body. I won’t have to edit them one by one anymore. ^_^
3. No problems hotlinking images from there.
4. Albums/Collections and tags are used to group pictures.
VOX’s disadvantages:
1. Filipinos hardly know of VOX.
2. You have to make a blog about new collections/albums for visitors to know of your updates.
3. Non-VOX users can’t comment.
4. Descriptions for albums/collections can’t be added unless you blog about it.
Those are all I can think of now. Multiply wins with having 5 advantages than VOX’s 4. I want to choose Multiply, but I’m keen on pre-made templates. The CSS of Multiply is slightly confusing and hard. I think it’s harder than LJ’s. XP But this is business and not something for personal use like my gallery. I have to keep in mind that there are more Filipino-users in Multiply. Anyway, since I decided to keep for you as a media distro site, Multiply it is then. I will just make a hyukta.net url for it. ^_^
Oh, for you to have an idea what I mean by Multiply disadvantage #2, here are pictures of a dress I’m itching to buy. These are hotlinked from Multiply. If it doesn’t show, then you already know what I mean. *lol* If it does, then Multiply’s buggy on hotlinking then. ^^;
