Nervous singer (3 Comments)
I’m supposed to blog the second part of Dinners and beer, but I changed my mind. XD Before the main point of this blog post, I dunno if the dog’s been found, but in case not — Help Find KETCHUP.
I went through my Santana mp3s. Hearing this song again brought back a lot of memories:

Those are memories totally unrelated to the meaning of the song, btw. :3 One of them is the time I had to sing that song in front of prolly more than a hundred people in a hotel. *lol* I drank glasses of red and sparkling wine and cans of Heineken. Relatives forced me to sing because they expected that I can sing like some diva just because I was in a band. D: I was given a piece of paper to be forwarded to the DJ. The artist and song title written on it had to be filled up, so I put The Gmae of Love by Santana/Michelle Branch.
Minutes later, the DJ announced the song. Then he said, “To be sung by SANTANA.” WTMF!?!? *facepalms* Everyone seemed too drunk or occupied to hear the mistake. Anyway, I went to the front, grinned like an idiot while I held the hand of my Aunt/Ninang. I told her to accompany me because I didn’t want to stand in front alone. I sang before, but with a band or a guitarist. Just not alone really. :/ It was frightening. Fortunately, I was able to sing it properly in spite of the drinks I had.
Diva! *rofl*
That was a funny, but memorable experience. XD;

Obviously, people don’t read anymore (2 Comments)
I removed some people off my reading list. I always read their blogs and leave comments, but I never hear from them in mine. I’m being selfish again I know. ~_~ But sometimes I also want some ♥in’.
Just recently I finished Californication Season 1. I suffered 2 nights of major headaches. That’s why I hate series in DVD format. You know, those only playable in standalone DVD players, because I can’t stay too long in front of the TV. UGH~ DAMMIT. If it weren’t for David Duchovny, I wouldn’t watch the whole season 1 Californication. I finished it in 2 nights since it’s only 12 episodes.
It’s possible to finish this in one sitting, but I feel weird watching the episodes with sex scenes when my parents are around. My brother also doesn’t want me to finish it ahead of him. I would watch with my PC, but I’d suffer back pains on my wooden chair. Lying on my bed while watching is not good either being near-sighted. I wrote a short background here.I splurged on 35mm films before the Surigao trip. I got myself some fresh Lucky Color 200 (lower than the SRP XD) and fresh Solid Gold 200. Then my parents brought home some cheap Fuji films from, I think, Walgreens.
To add more, Lola Lily gave 2 boxes of expired Kodak Gold 200 (must test to see how the pictures will come out) and Tita Pricilla bought me 2 boxes of fresh Fuji 400. Now they’re all zip-locked and stored in the crisper. XD Since Green-ade would be needing 120 films, I ordered from Adorama. I wanted to buy more, but I had to control myself. My parents would kill me if they see my cc bill go skyhigh just because of those. Next on my to-buy list is the LC-A. I wish a green version would come out. XDDD (Btw, magnetic_rose, will email you about your Polaroid films. They already arrived sa officemate ng Dad ko… Siya na lang mismo hinihintay ko dumating dito. *lol*)Before the film buying, I was already on a spending spree. I gave in to temptation and bought these on eBay.ph:

So far, I find the collection at Powerbooks TriNoma and Fully Booked High Street worth looking at. If only some manga are open for free-reading at Fully Booked, I would have to start LIVING there. XDDD
Man, I’ve been so busy lately. My to-do list gets longer as more stuff are needed to be done. I spent two days organizing my room. It’s about 80% finished. I got a new bookshelf where I can finally put my manga, novels, and DVDs. A bit unfortunate that I can’t access my terrace anymore because we placed the bookshelf just beside the door. *lol* I hardly use the terrace anyway. Had a bit of a phobia going there after seeing (with Pebbles) a guy masturbating. Eww~ It would be alright if it’s a HOT guy, but he isn’t… So… XP Aside from room cleaning, it has also been busy with most of my relatives from the US here. Shopping, dinners, lunches, a wedding, etc… The talking and walking is very tiring.
But it was overall fun. I had Mac join us in one of our dinners. I’m glad my relatives didn’t “interrogate” him or something. *lol* He was a big help to one of my Lola when we went shopping. Should I make the font bigger for you to be able read that? A number of people downloaded from my Christmas goodies, but only 2 commented. Yes, ONLY 2. ~_~ Oh well, I’m not blogging today because of that. It’s because it’s already 2008! I should stop being lazy and delaying my blogging. My posts always end up long. I know a lot of you hate reading long entries. ^_^V But before I go further, I want to greet you guys a HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s kind of late, but that’s better than never. Did I say that right? Haha~

Another wake and what annoys me in social networks (2 Comments)
I don’t know how many wakes I’ve visited for the past few months starting last August. XP So the wake my family and I went to last night is of my Lola’s brother. He got cancer and other sickness maybe.
We took pictures with our relatives there. Being that we haven’t seen each other for a very, very long time. I don’t even remember them at all. ^_^V I get a number of messages from Zorpia. Most of them are really worse than me in grammar. Here’s one which isn’t very bad, but that frog and toad made me go, “Huh???”

I don’t even know what’s that entire message he mentioned. Must be my profile? GRRR~ I don’t want to try to understand. But that ancient male is hilarious. *lol* He self-admitted that he’s old… Unless he meant something else. ^_^V Other things that annoy me in social networks are profiles with animated backgrounds, girls with boob/butt/panty/bra shots, neon-colored fonts/background, sTiCkY cApS (doesn’t that take long to type!?), very light-colored fonts over a white background, and profiles full of flash widgets that my browser would sometimes hang. Layouts with neon-colored fonts and black background is like the layouts back in the early days of the internet. I don’t see what’s cool with a blinding layout. XP
My HDs are getting full again. I’ll transfer some of my files in the laptop after I finish downloading Dennou Coil episode 20. You guys should watch that. It’s effin’ good even though it looks like a kids’ show just because the characters are *coughs* kids.
I’m hungry. I should watch Dennou Coil ep. 20 while I eat. ^_^

Shocking news (4 Comments)
One of my Titas (Aunts), was murdered. She was missing for 3 days then her body was found in a hotel. There’s also mysterious phone number found. I don’t know if her family tried calling it. I hope we’ll find out more news on this. I asked Tita Pricilla if she knows what hotel, but she doesn’t. She said that it could have been a 4-5 star hotel.
*sighs* I was supposed to sleep, but now I can’t. This really shocked me. I haven’t seen her in a long time then I hear this.
