I still can’t believe it *lol* (0 Comments)
Time to get back to my semi-regular blogging. XD I’m done with the review AND the board exam. I also got the results. I feel as if a huge load were removed from my shoulders! The stress and all the worries are now gone. :DDD Man, I’m not used to _not_ reviewing. ^^;;; Before the exams, I reviewed as hard as I could. I kept complaining how many there was needed to be read. -_-
On the first day of the examinations (Feb. 6), the exams covered Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering. The Environmental Engineering exam was fine, but I didn’t want to expect a high score on it. Expect the worst they say.
At home, I was telling my Mom again how hard the exams were as if they didn’t want anyone to pass. My parents and Mac kept saying I will pass and everything will be alright. I was worried like shit. I didn’t look at my cellphone until the morning (yesterday). If I do not receive messages that means I failed. If I did… Well… ^_^ But I did!!! There were from 3 classmates and our professor congratulating me. I asked myself, “Why!? Did I pass the board!?” I was getting all excited. I couldn’t help myself that I ran to my Dad’s office and excitedly told them that I passed. They were so shocked. They couldn’t believe it! ^_^V They wouldn’t believe me until they saw the list. So I asked Marius who wouldn’t even tell me at first. So, yeah… The fact that only 16 of us passed is totally unbelievable. O_O
Anyway, a lot of things happened since October, so I’ll be bumming for some time to REST. I want to take some time to myself without worrying about anything. After the paperworks I worked on months back, I rushed my transcript application which the school’s head registrar wouldn’t even give. XP As soon as I got the transcript (after a lot of arguing), I had to hurry for the board exam application which I had problems too because of my birth certificate. I was so stressed that I missed some review days. Ugh~ But all that rushing and panicking paid off. ^_^ Yay!
Congratulations to the ff. Mapuans (more than half of the 16) who also passed:
ISLES, MAURICE JAMES ZUASOLA
JOSE, PACIFICO JR RAFANAN
LAGTO, FRANCIS EREÑO
LIM, MARICAR BELAMIDE
OPLADO, J P NEIL SARMIENTO
PICCIO, JOSEPH III CAMACHO
QUINSAY, MARK LEONARD GAWARAN
TAN, NEIL RYAN CO
TUAZON, JOSE MARIUS RETINIO
VALERO, KARLA CRISTINA CALUPE
Thanks to my family and Mac who supported and prayed for me. Thanks also to those who congratulated me. *lol* This is like a prayer! XDDD
Remember my post about Revoltech’s Yotsuba figure? This time they released a Gurren-Lagann!

For three, do we let go on ‘th’ or ‘ree’? (2 Comments)
Gintoki says the funniest thing evarrr! *lol* I should finish at least half of a chapter in our paper I’m working on before I watch episodes 38-39 of Gintama.
Before I go on with my probably long-ass entry, I would like to plug — Blog ni Inday. I didn’t expect I’d read about Inday on the internet other than in text messages. *roflmao* Of course, a popularity of even a fictitious character who provides laughter for the Filipinos gets noticed by the local paper which they shouldn’t even have written about. ~_~
I’m having a hard time thinking of how I should go about this entry. I feel dizzy from playing too much of Need For Speed_ Underground Rivals. @_@ Anyway, I feel like a lot happened even though I mostly stayed at home and worked on my paper. I play Innocent Life, Bomberman, or NFS: Underground Rivals on my break time though. You know you can’t write anything good if you intend to work nonstop. ^_^V Like now, I can’t get past 5 sentences on this freaking chapter. Writer’s block on a paper!? DAMMIT.

Blog Action Day + anime figures (0 Comments)
Tsk, I missed Blog Action Day.
I wanted to share an article on American Photo. The title is “13 Ways to be a Greener Photographer.” There is also an article about “How Photography Can Save the Planet.” They’re great reads and the pictures are awesome too. Some animals were given sudden attention because of some photographers who show the wonders of the world and that there is a need to preserve them. Well, I could blog about them next time. I only feel that the post will be ignored because it would be posted on a NON-Blog Action Day. Get what I mean? ~_~
Having a hangover last week over Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, I was looking through different sites about reviews and products on the anime. (Btw, I just got chapter 1 of its manga.
Gainax’s uber-epic tv series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is a mere smattering of hours away from its final episode– or is it? Gainax’s website offers a small sampling (a single image) from a project titled Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Shisen Genshikou. It’s not entirely clear to me what the project is just yet, but what IS clear is that it will take place in the same universe as Gurren Lagann. And frankly, that’s good enough for me! -Gia
I hope someone could give me more information about it. ^_^ Then I found this awesome Great Impact Gurren-Lagann figure:
The legs look like those old-skool mecha. ^_^V I feel tempted in getting this. But I should re-organize my room in such a way I could display all the mecha me and my brother got. ^_^ Then I could brag about my not-anymore-boring room. *lol*
That’s weird. The figure was only about $150 the first time I saw it.
The Yotsuba-chan figure was released just last September 27. ^_^ Heisei Democracy posted a lot of pictures of it. :DDD
She doesn’t look cute like puppies, pandas, or little babies, but if you read the manga you’ll understand why. ^_^ There are also more pictures at GA Graphic. I forgot from where I got to know of those sites.

I feel awful (0 Comments)
This cough is making me feel bad aside from having lack of sleep. Last Friday until Sunday, I only had 10 hours (est.) of sleep. I slept longer from Sunday night to yesterday Monday morning though. Then I went back to sleep from 4PM to 6PM and more short naps between 9PM to 12MN. ^^; I’m still sleepy, but I’m going to feel bad if I waste more time without doing anything
So, it’s been 9 days since my last post. I’ve been busy. I get a bit of free time, but I spent it resting. I haven’t even continued playing Innocent Life after I finished its first year. ~_~
About our paper, I’m trying to get it done by bugging Jay and Kristal about it almost everyday. Jay told me he would email the files to me. Geez, it took him a week to send only 3 paragraphs for the introduction. He even said it’s not yet done. *gah* Then the data he would only need to input with the Excel file I sent him is still not yet done. GRR~ I’m getting stressed just because of these people who wouldn’t do things right away. *sighs*
On to ‘happier’ non-work related things… I finished Lucky Star and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. ^_^ Lucky Star is a cute daily-life anime. Izumi Konata is my favorite. She’s the one who gave life in this series with her being an otaku and liking chocolates. XD My other favorite characters are Konata’s father and her homeroom teacher. Her homeroom teacher is into online gaming like Konata. In the later part of the series, she feels sad that her getting to sleep early because of work is already a sign that she’s prioritizing other things than playing which she didn’t do when she was younger. ^_^V Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, on the other hand, is a mecha, drama, comedy, action, adventure, and romance (yes, there’s a bit of lovey-dovey in the series) anime. It’s EPIC. It’s one of my favorite anime now. ^_^ I’m not satisfied with Simon’s decision of leaving the group to do things on his own… Whatever they are. O_o Even though he knows he’s not fit to become a leader, he should have at least stayed with those who survived the battles he went through with. I agree with everyone who says that his decision isn’t something Kittan and the others who sacrificed their lives will agree to. He has done things no one expected (except for Kamina) him to do, but he did and he deserves a lot for his effort. This series started out funny and good until it became slightly depressing. -_- Gainax did a great job making a lot of the characters special. I didn’t think Kittan would die. I was really sad with that. Why did Yoko and Simon have to lose so much? Tsk… So sad and depressing. I hope Gainax makes an OVA at least about this series. Although Kittan and Kamina (they’re my favorites hehe~) won’t be there anymore, I’m hoping for a better closure for Simon and Yoko. They look so different when they got older. *lol* It’s too bad they didn’t show Yoko’s face. I get the feeling she got ugly. *lol* I also want to know more about those Anti-Spirals. They seem more powerful. If it wasn’t for Simon and his comrades’ hopes, they wouldn’t be able to defeat them at all. *shakes head* TTGL is a series that doesn’t fully make sense. The part when they used the galaxies as weapons was funny. *lol* I was thinking that would create a disturbance to time and space, but it didn’t. Haha~ Amazing! This series is a definite must-watch. I don’t know if it’s already licensed. If it isn’t, I’m sure it will soon.
A lot of series has ended. I should finish them and start downloading new titles like Gundam 00. ^_^ Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei’s subs should also be finished soon. I miss watching that.
Last Thursday, I met up with spoz to check my Dad’s old laptop. I used it before, but it kept shutting down. I never used it again after that. My Dad suggested we sell it. Some of its part may still be useful or other people might want to upgrade its hardware. We sold it to my uncle who never got to pay. He returned it. Then we decided to have it checked to know what’s causing it to shutdown. I asked spoz for help hat task because I don’t know how to do things when it comes to hardware. XP He said it could be the hard disk. Its fan is also not working anymore. He said I should try to scan it with a different software that he’s going to email me. He hasn’t emailed me yet, but my Dad and I have been thinking of selling it again. It’s too bad. That Compaq laptop is cute because it’s small and its color is sky blue. It’s like a nail polish color actually. *lol* I also don’t want to disturb spoz again about such things. ^_^V Anyway, that was a really tiring day. I’m glad Mac accompanied me. I had so many things with me including my reading materials for research. After meeting with spoz, we had lunch then headed elsewhere. I plan on reading for our research. Then I got a message from spoz saying I could pick up the laptop already. O_O We went back to North EDSA. ^_^V Damn, that place is so far.
Neri, Phoebe, and I had a short coffee night out at High Street. We also camwhored. ^_^ I didn’t think we’d have about 30 pictures. *lol* I’ll be grabbing those later from Phoebe’s Multiply. Hehe~ There will be another photo post! :DDD
I just saw the NV digital camera series of Samsung the other day. *_* I asked my Dad to buy it for me, but he said we should just buy a dSLR. It’s true, but the NV series are tempting. One of them can play mp3 and video. That’s awesome. But those additional features can be done with my mp3 player. I also have the PSP, so I should stop being tempted with those. ^_^V These are what I should ask for: *lol*
The Samsung GX-10 is a twin of Pentax K10D. They have the same features. The differences are the branding on the cameras, the battery grip of K10D doesn’t fit with the Samsung GX-10 as the latter’s grip is bigger, and the price because GX-10’s cheaper than the K10D. I’ll blog more about the two next time.
Btw, since I mentioned about Innocent Life, I just remembered to ask if you guys know where to download PSP ISOs with high/good seeds? Demonoid doesn’t seem to be the place to look for games torrents.
