Aah, sadness… (0 Comments)

I’m in an internet shop again. This is just sad. I miss the net, downloading, and PLURKING 24/7. *lol* Just kidding about the latter. :P I’ve kept myself busy with Patapon and icon-making. It’s about time I make icons, since my for-icons images have really piled up. I guess having no net has a bit of its advantages. But we’re not paying for having no internet! I wonder how long I will have to hope for our net to be fixed. -_- I’m almost tempted to buy an internet card. I’m thinking of bringing my laptop to a coffee shop, but I have limited wifi access. This makes me miss my stay at Iloilo where it’s so damn easy to find FREE wifi. Even la paz batchoy restos there have.

Last Tuesday, I had my braces removed then I got my retainers on Wednesday. It’s so hard to eat with this on. I can’t remove these though because my teeth are, uhh, soft. They can easily move. I don’t want to ruin my nice teeth anymore. Hahahha~ XD Tuesday afternoon, I went to Mac’s place to hang out. I went home around 9PM and that’s when I discovered that we lost our internet. The customer service made me check a few things like the physical connection. I told her it’s impossible that would be the problem because no one touched anything. After a few minutes, she told me they’d have someone to look at our modem. It’s already Friday. No one’s visited yet. Someone called this morning though. He asked if our internet’s already fixed. Obviously it isn’t. I wish they’d do something about it like NOW. >_>

It’s almost time for me to log out. Until next time peeps! -_-

No net (0 Comments)

We have no connection at home. Right now I’m in a computer shop. :| Anyway, I’ll be on Plurk since I can update there from my cellphone… Just in case anyone’s interested on what’s going on with me. ^_^V I wish we’ll have our connection back soon. Like NOW. Or later at most. >_>

Some of the things I wish for :P (0 Comments)

Due to the recent Italianni’s stint, I updated my DA with food shots! :D

:thumb89329510:   :thumb89333532:

I’ll probably scrap some or most of them next time. *lol*

Hasselblad H3D-39 I was browsing my H&B thick-ass catalog and saw what I didn’t really wanna see… Just because these are things I deeply want, but can’t afford. ~_~ First — the HASSELBLAD H3D-39 (picture on the left). Features:
39 Megapixels
50MB Filesize
Large format 48×36mm
Uses H system lenses
FlexColor workflow
Hasselblad natural color solution
“Instant” user interface
Choice of viewfinders

The camera is worth $31,994.95. I saw this before in an issue of American Photography. Back then, this was $39,000. @_@;;; Second in my wish list that I think I’ll be able to buy once I start starving myself (har-har) is the HASSELBLAD 503CW. Specifications:
36.7mm x 36.7mm Square image sensor
ISO 50-400
1.5x Lens Factor (of Hasselblad 6×6)
Lossless Hasselblad 3FR raw capture
22MB file size
2.2″ OLED display
CF Card or tethered operation
Manual focus, leaf shutter SLR
Interchangeable film back
Hasselblad bayonet lens mount
Shutter speed range 1 to 1/500th second
Accepts standard mechanical cable releases

With all the things I want in life, these are one of those I don’t think I’ll be able to buy. I can buy a lot of things with how much these are worth. DX I wish I would be rich to the point I won’t have to budget my money. :P

Anyway, I haven’t been blogging lately because of PLURK. I blame that site because after posting almost everything I want to say there, I start to feel lazy to talk about them here. ^_^V I must stop that since I don’t want to waste paid hosting. XD; Other than PLURK, I also don’t have an internet connection at home. I’m in an computer shop now. How sad~ I miss the internet and I have so much to post. -_-

We didn’t go to the gig last Friday at One Luv. Our bassist, at the last minute, informed me that he won’t make it. He said he messaged me. I didn’t get any message from him in my primary phone. When I checked my (sometimes used) prepaid, that’s where I saw it. I was really pissed because, first, we spent a lot of time practicing for it considering that one of us isn’t on a break unlike my brother; second, it was Carol’s first time with us!!! (nakakahiya rin sa kanya); and, last, I don’t want to embarrass myself to the organizer. Those are the top reasons why. The gig was scheduled a week before. I knew and believed he wouldn’t make other commitments or appointments because, of course, it was already scheduled early. XP Also, because we hadn’t performed with a female vocalist in months, we had a hard time deciding on the songs. Sheesh~

We ended up drinking that Friday night as a late celebration for Peli’s birthday and for Carol as the band’s new vocalist. Fufufu~ Details will be posted next time. ^_^ Here is a picture linked from Carol’s Multiply.

I adore Haraken *tee-hee* (0 Comments)

Connection’s being stupid again. If it weren’t for that short electrical problem. FUCK! XP I get Network Error (dns_server_failure) in most of the sites I visit. Included site is my LJ friends’ page. ARGH! At times like this, I I wish I could just subscribe my friends’ LJ in Google Reader. (It’s one of the few sites I could visit at the moment.) But I can’t because the majority of my friends set their posts to friends-only. ;_;

It’s been raining since lunch time. I told Lez I would go to school, but I ended up not going. *lol* I planned on taking a short nap and leave around 1:30PM. I ended up waking up by 4:30PM. *lol* I don’t think it was a good idea to go out anyway. The rain was kind of strong. It would be hard to commute. I wanted to wear my new flats even. *sighs*

So far, I updated SASHIMI with a review of Dennou Coil ep. 8-9. If you haven’t seen that series yet, please go watch it. Another series I recommend is Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. ♥

They’re like family ♥ ^_^

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Moon is a card of magic and mystery – when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.
The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

I finished watching PoT the other day. ^_^ I should have finished watching the series back then. The episodes after the US-Japan tournament has awaken the yaoi-fangirl in me. I haven’t been reading much yaoi lately, you see. Oh, except Junjou Karen. ^^; There are obvious hints of InuixKaidoh, TezuFuji, and (my favorite) TezuRyo in the last 10-ish episodes of the series. :O It’s also good that I finished it when the OAV is already showing. ^_^ I wasn’t too thrilled when Ryoma was to play in the US Open. I know that it’s a great opportunity for a serious tennis player, but nothing beats being with your teammates. When Ryoma got back from the US Open and just in time for the Nationals, it made me happy. I’m loving the OAV. ♥ ♥ Episode 7 is freaking HILARIOUS! *roflmao*

Last Thursday, Mac and I went to NBC Engineering Office is Makati Cinema Square. Engr. Balmori (his wife is a pamangkin of my mom) recommended that office for our OJT. I went there, hurrying, only to get rejected. They preferred that we go there everyday. If we do that, we’ll be done in a week and the OJT requirement for our class will be totally pointless. X_X Our OJT requirements are very different among other schools. Our OJT isn’t even a separate course. It’s only a class requirement. I explained to the lady how our OJT goes, but she didn’t understand (nor even tried to). So I made it somewhat obvious that I don’t care about their office anymore. They should be grateful that we wouldn’t be bothering them everyday. Also, our school doesn’t allow us to go to offices that give allowances. :P We only need their time. I’m bugging my dad to look for construction sites through his contacts. I plan to go to where me, Wally, and Balao can relate to. We’re EnSE students after all. We have’s a groupmate who’s CE student though. I kind of dislike him because he seems arrogant. I guess it’s only the way he looks. It’s too early to tell anyway. :P He asked for my number after we talked with Engr. Balmori. He said he knows of a site we can go to.

High-neck Crop Jacket50s Pinup Rockabilly Polkadot Crop Top
I want these two tops!
(If one of the two pictures isn’t showing up, it’s Imageshack’s fault.)

The High-neck Crop Jacket (the first thumbnail) may seem a bit weird, but I like how it is different among the usual crop jackets. Hehe~ Then, the 50s-style top… Who wouldn’t like that!? It’s sexy. I ain’t sexy. Not only am I wishing for that top, I also wish I’m sexy to wear that! X_X

Classes were shitty yesterday. I was very late for Construction Project Management class. When I got there, my classmates told me that Engr. Balmori will arrive by 2:15PM. *gah* Fortunate of me for not being late. But trying to take that 15-minute walk in 5 minutes, walking under the extreme heat, and carrying a heavy bag almost killed me. ~_~ Then in Irrigation class, our report was doomed when we couldn’t open our Powerpoint presentation. Mark used an OpenOffice program, but I didn’t have that in the laptop. We just showed our MSWord document in fullscreen. ^^; Also I never got to do our assignment. Mark didn’t get to do it either. We were worried over our report. I got pissed off that damn assignment. The teacher said she would check it if we answered it in our notebooks. A sheet of bond paper isn’t a notebook, my oh-so-smart classmates! >_< I was surprised they passed it. Marco, who I even had to bring my very thick and heavy Engineering Wastewater book for some time ago, didn’t even ask me about it. I know we got to worry for our own, but I want to believe that my kindness will not go unrewarded. Be it the same or not. I fear I’m going to fail that subject due to poor class participation even though I worked on that damn report. I doubt our techer knows that’s my share of work.

The sucky thing about Globe DSL is that you have turn it off then on everyday. Unlike pldtDSL, the modem’s off only when electricity is temporarily out.
