Book loot :D (6 Comments)

After an afternoon meet-up in Shangri-La and package drop-off in Rustan’s Glorietta, I arrived home to see a package in my room. :D

On my way home in the jeepney, there was a girl around 10 to 11 years old who kept staring at me. I stared back. I noticed that she has red shiny lips and in her hand is lip gloss. Seems like she’s into that at such age while I was interested in books and drawing. >_>;;; I hate to admit thinking she’ll wear slutty clothes in no time.

Cutting off that cardboard and magazine wrapping…

Inside the package
Books!!!

I finally completed the Sleepy Beauty trilogy only that my first book is smaller and has the latest cover design. I bought The Five People You Meet in Heaven for more life enlightenment. *lol* The Strange Candy is for my Hamilton Collection. I purchased The Bell Jar, which is actually the first choice among the list of books I browsed, because I’ve heard nice things about it. Let the book not be boring please. :P

The following were my orders from the same source that were shipped months ago along with Karen’s.

Anne Rice and Paulo Coelho

I didn’t know Beauty’s Release is part of a trilogy, therfore, Beauty’s Punishment was kind of a forced buy for completion’s sake. *lol* Valkyrie’s Profile is another addition to my Paulo Coelho books. Now a few left of his to buy. Maybe except The Winner Stands Alone because of its negative reviews.

Book get-o! (1 Comment)

cigarette-girl’s giving away books! *does banana dance*

I wasn’t sure what book I wanna read. Except for Lovely Bones, I checked most of what seemed interesting. What got my attention was Oranges are Not the Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson. I always wonder why everyone isn’t open to girl-to-girl relationships.

How does Jeanette (the protagonist in the book) deal with her mom and her mom’s religious friends? They undergo exorcism? @_@;;; That’s kinda going overboard. >_>

cigarette-girl, I can has teh book? XD

Better now ^_^ THANKS, guys! (0 Comments)

Early this month, I uploaded a video to YouTube. It was uploading fine, but when it was finished I got an error about being behind a firewall. That’s odd. It shouldn’t be able to upload when it’s like that. O_o Anybody or anyone else having the same problem? I might have to stick with VOX for video uploading. I hope the quality is better now because last December the quality of the videos I uploaded really sucked. In Team VOX’s blog, they mentioned about this problem and will have it fixed within the next couple of weeks. I hope they do. :/

Thanks so much for everybody who replied to my previous post with their hugs and advice. I really appreciate it. ^_^ I ♥ YOU ALL!!! *huggles* *huggles* :DDD It’s really bad to sulk over problems, so I’m going to try real hard to focus on things just so I could forget even a bit my problems or any problems I will have to overcome. If you’re wondering about the situation now, we’re okay. For now. As I told iaoiua, I hope this will last for long.
