Because I forgot about the photos of the other gifts I received, I’m including them here. 🙂
My 2014 was, overall, a fun year. 🙂 I began playing Ingress which caused a huge change in my social life. I met too many people that I lost count. Through that, I’ve proven to myself again that my social skills are nearly nada, but I can manage to be part of the group and hang out with many people as much as I can. I also met my boyfran through the game. I get happier and happier each day I get to spend with him and every day I’m grateful. There’s no emotional vampire. There’s no emotional stress. There’s no pressure. I like our openness to each other. We still have our ups and downs, but they can be worked out easy peasy.
I may have spent fewer time with the usual suspects especially with my Ingress-gaming. Everybody else was busy too. But whenever we get to meet, our time is always well-spent on gaming and NOM-ing. I also began my Japanese class which wasn’t really part of my year plan. I’ve been self-studying, but my studies are all over because of the many books I want to read and learn from. Thankfully, I got help in my schooling. I already made it past the midterms (w00t) which I hope I passed. ^^;;;
Before the year ended, I was able to travel with Kat to Kota Kinabalu. That trip was memorable. I made more friends through Ingress still. Because of them, we were able to go places we didn’t see in many travel blogs. I had a lot of great food and couldn’t get enough of their kitchai ping, teh tarik, and kopi’o’. I regret not buying a lot of kopi’o’ and not a single bottle of sour plum so I can make my own kitchai. =_= Kota Kinabalu is definitely a place I would keep coming back to.
Looking back at my KK photos makes me want to book a flight right now.
No resolutions for me this year, but I do have goals that I update every now and then because I get a blank when I try to list in one sitting. Some of my goals include for my blogs, fitness and health, organization and decluttering of my rooms, and book read. Later I’ll include re-learning sketching and painting. Maybe when I’m less shy, I’ll post a photo of my list here… Written in my Midori Traveler’s Notebook. 😀 Besides the goals for this year, I also have monthly goals. So far I’ve accomplished already a couple. I feel so productive already. LOL! I hope that continues. And because I have this tendency to hate myself when I end up not being able to complete tasks, I should remind myself to take it easy. Our mind and body always need some time off. 🙂
Please share one or some of your goals in the comments. 🙂 I would love to get more ideas since my list is still short.
