Snoe Oil for All Watermelon Seed Oil

I always consider recommendations from those with oily skin. That is the case with the Snoe Oil for All Watermelon Seed Oil.

Snoe Oil for All Watermelon Seed Oil is made of “100% citrullus vulgaris (watermelon) seed oil.” It is good for all skin types including extra sensitive skin and is gentle for babies.

Snoe’s claims as stated in their website:

  • rich in linoleic and oleic acids, omega-9 fatty acids, Vitamins A and E
  • helps heal dry, chapped, and dry skin
  • balances skin moisture
  • conditions hair and scalp
  • helps remove environmental toxins on the skin thus improving skin complexion
  • helps damaged skin like burns, wounds, cuts, scars
  • promotes healthy hair growth
  • helps repair split ends when rubbed on hair ends

The 30 ml oil comes in a plastic bottle with dropper cap. I think this will last me a while since a small drop goes a long way. Still, maybe not since I find myself using it as often as I intended. πŸ™‚

For my face, I use it two to three times a week. I put a drop on each my cheeks then gently massage it all over my face especially on areas that seem to have texture. I also put a lot on my nose because I don’t put moisturizer there. This is non-comedogenic, so I don’t worry about blackheads (never did I get any from it).

For my scalp, I put a good couple of drops (in hopes) to strengthen my hair. I do this after evening showers and before I go to bed. It doesn’t make a mess on my pillow covers, in case that is your concern. Then I wash it off in the morning.

I haven’t noticed any difference with my hair because, to be honest, I sometimes forget to apply. I would use this as a substitute for my favorite hair cream that I use to prevent split ends and frizzy hair, but this smells of cooking oil. So, yeah, my face would smell like it’s ready to cook. LOLS But on my face, I noticed the effects quickly. It feels soft, there is less texture, and the oil seems to prevent bad scar marks from acne.

I had some dry areas such as between the brows and right under my dark circles. When I started using this, my foundation doesn’t build up or accentuate those areas anymore. My face looks less dull too. However, when I didn’t have the oil yet, I relied to my favorite Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask or other brightening sheet masks to fool others I had a good, long sleep.

Recommend or pass?

Recommending this for sure! And for any skin type, not just the oily skin folks. I find it’s one of those that you can already survive with if, let’s say, you can’t find the moisturizer for you yet. πŸ™‚ Oh, because my skin is more of dehydrated, I layer this on top of moisturizer. I think my skin gets better effects with that method. Either way, by itself or as another layer for moisture, it works. The cooking oil smell might be off-putting at first. Just don’t breathe the first few seconds. πŸ˜† Also, the smell goes away.
