Riki Cutie

The Riki Cutie is one of my best buys of last year, as well as one of my favorites.

I was hesitant about buying at first, thinking there might be cheaper alternatives. After window-shopping (in Lazada and Shopee) for several months, I never found a rechargeable or one that doesn’t require separate batteries. The Universe must have taken pity (LOL!) because Freyja had a HUGE sale late last year. I had to break my “no buy” rule, though. XDΒ  It must have been really meant to be because I was able to find this Riki Cutie when Freyja was jam-packed with customers. πŸ™‚

Review and Rating

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

After really using the Riki Cutie (more than just testing it in the store), I appreciated it more. I was skeptical at first because it felt flimsy. Now, I can’t leave the house without it, and I have fewer worries about my skincare and makeup when I travel. I love it! πŸ˜€ My only issue is the finger ring won’t stay locked in anymore.

Don’t mind the smudge πŸ˜›

Riki Loves Riki claims the mirror is scratch- and shatter-proof, but I’m not risking to find out if that’s true. πŸ˜› I just wish the sleeve came in a different color.

A single charge takes about 2 to 3 months of use.

The mirror is also useful as a flashlight, like finding something in my bag or when I enter the cinema.

I highly recommend the mirror, especially when convenience is of utmost priority. I might get the Riki Skinny next time for my vanity and for long-period travels. πŸ™‚
