Review: Dior Prestige La Lotion Essence de Rose

I believe the Dior Prestige La Lotion Essence De Rose is my first expensive and luxurious lotion. I currently use it in my evening routine. πŸ™‚

Description

The lotion comes in a glass bottle with a pump and a gold cap. It screams “luxurious” on top of my vanity, along with my other cheap skincare. XD

The following is the item description on its box:

La Lotion Essence de Rose is the fundamental prelude to the Dior Prestige beauty ritual. Enriched with micro-reviving Rose Water, it encourages the circulation of intercellular flows and revives the complexion’s radiance. Its milky-watery texture combines the invigorating freshness of Rose Water with the comforting softness of milk. Plumped with moisture, the skin glows, revealing an exquisite rose-toned complexion.

Using the Dior Prestige La Lotion Essence de Rose

The lotion is the first step in the Dior Prestige ritual. For me, I use it after double-cleansing. πŸ™‚

I put on three pumps directly to my face (I was told it works better this way), each on the forehead and cheeks. Since it has a thin milky-watery consistency, I have to quickly pat the product and let it sink in before I move on to my next skincare.

Review

Dior Prestige La Lotion Essence de Rose

At first, I wasn’t impressed with the lotion because it didn’t seem like it provided much hydration for my very dehydrated skin. Since I started using it, I’ve always wondered what its benefits are, but I only researched when I had to post in my IG account. πŸ˜›

Besides hydration, the lotion also has anti-aging properties. So I did some pondering and, yeah, I noticed my skin looked betterβ€”supple and radiant. πŸ™‚ The lines near the outer corners of my eyes aren’t noticeable anymore and, most especially, my smile lines. But that’s not enough of a reason to keep this in my routine. It also has a rose scent, which usually annoys me, but this one’s mild and doesn’t smell fake if you get what I mean.

(Also, while looking around, I saw this has 4-5 star ratings. That was a surprise. LOL)

To conclude, I enjoy the lotion and how it makes me feel luxurious each time I use it. But the anti-aging benefits, although I noticed the effectivity, aren’t unique to this lotion. In the end, I’m just glad I can experience using it. πŸ™‚

The Dior Prestige La Lotion Essence de Rose is worth it if one has the means to make it a regular in their skincare routine.
