Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream and Overall Thoughts with Pyunkang Yul

Because of several project deadlines, I had to hold off the last of my Pyunkang Yul skincare reviews. There’s still more work needed to submit very soon, but I’d like to get this up now and move on to a non-beauty post that is my visit at Bern. I saw the photos from my trip again and I can’t help but be mesmerized… Over and over again. Haha!

Anyway, onto the review. πŸ™‚

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream provides intense moisture that may be used by all skin types, including those with sensitive skin. The Moisture Cream comes in a glass jar, with 100ml of product.

Coptis Chinensis Root Extract, Butylene Glycol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate , Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate , Isohexadecane , 1,2-Hexanediol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) , Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Polysorbate 80, Glyceryl Caprylate

The main ingredient Coptis Chinensis Root Extract provides skin protection as it is said to be antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal. Now that I look at the ingredients and their effects (refer to image below), I’m digging this moisturizer more. πŸ™‚

How to Use

I use the Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream as second layer of moisturizer in my evening routine. I like to layer moisturizers because I have dehydrated skin. Here are the my pros and cons of the Moisture Cream:

✓ Hydrating and moisturizing, and my face stays looking and feeling healthy for hours (except on days I’m really dehydrated, which is when it’s that time of the month).
✓ Gives a refreshed feeling.
✓ Not tacky, heavy, or thick.
✓ Unscented.
✓ Doesnt’ make my face oily in the morning πŸ™‚
✗ Takes a while to set that’s why I can only use this in evening routine.
✗ Comes in a glass tub. Not too travel-friendly.

Where to Buy

Before I give my overall thoughts on all the Pyunkang Yul, here are links to my previous reviews:

All these Pyunkang Yul items have few, yet safe for even sensitive skin ingredients. I don’t have sensitive skin, but sometimes my skin would go cray cray and get a breakout. I never experienced that with these nor did I get ccs. The Moisture Serum has to be my most favorite and the Essence Toner is second. I like them, but not too much for me to keep repurchasing them. Well, I already repurchased the Moisture Serum, but there are other Pyunkang Yul products I would like to try. At least I know I can trust the brand that it won’t eff up my face. I have no regrets with purchasing them from Style Korean.

The price point isn’t bad either especially if these are made for sensitive skin types. The moisturizer alone of my go-to skincare brand doesn’t come in 100ml and already costs more than USD32.

Have you tried Pyunkang Yul? If so, let me know what worked for you. If you haven’t tried, do you think it’s something you would consider now? πŸ™‚ Let me know what you think by leaving a comment!
