I love and hate the rubber case of NARS blush compacts. I love the matte black, but I hate the rubber texture that makes it prone to finger/foundation/powder prints. 😆
Talia Contour Blush
Talia was released in fall of last year. The compact includes a highlight and contour.
The Talia highlight is pale beige that’s near my skin tone. I rarely use it, but when I do, it’s to contour my nose. Surprisingly, it’s brown-ish on my nose area. I also use it to set my eyelids if I can’t squeeze in a full eye makeup. The Talia contour, on the other hand, is a warm medium brown that I use for its purpose–as a contour. 😛 I only need a light tap on the powder with Nars Ita Kabuki Brush and lightly line at the hollows of my cheeks then blend. If I happen to put on too much, it would look like dirt/soil on my cheekbones. 😆
Even with oily skin, I find the contour lasts all day on my cheekbones. The highlight shade, when used on my eyelids, does not crease and keeps my eyelids from getting oily. Good stuff. It makes me wonder if Nars powders, particularly the Light Reflecting Setting Powder, are as good.
Price and Availability
NARS Contour Blush is available in 5 shades. I’m sure there’s one for any skin tone. I bought mine at Adora for Php2150. Expensive, I know, but the blush duo would last you a long time except if you feel like covering your face with a lot of the product. 😆
Let me know if you use this or especially if another of the Contour Blushes and how it performs for you. Also, maybe your favorite contour powder at the moment? 🙂
