300 (2006)
4.5/5
Amazing movie, indeed, with the graphics and fight scenes. There were some scenes though like the shadow part that wasn't much needed. Or was there a special meaning to it that I missed?

Californication is a great series. Hank Moody was a not-so-cool guy, but after splitting with his girlfriend and living separately from his daughter, he became that cool happy-go-lucky guy. Well, from what it looks to me. He tries to survive being a writer with a writer's block and juggles his relationship with his daughter, ex-gf, and various girls he has casual sex with. The effect seems different from what is expected. Things have gone differently though when he learned that his ex-gf is going to be married to someone else. It became a disaster after another. Even though Hank's a jerk, I don't think anyone deserves too much bad luck. His only good luck is on the bed. :P Oh, still not that good btw. *lol* I think it's definitely worth watching. Be warned though. There are sex scenes in almost every episode, but nothing extreme. You won't even see pubes. XD

Click
4.5/5
Comedy and drama, Click, starring Adam Sandler is a great movie that is great to watch with your family. A person should really set his priorities right and it isn't right to ignore those special people around you. You don't want to feel regret when you realize that it's too late.

Death at a Funeral isn't the 'omg-you-gotta-watch-this' movie. The movie's slightly humorous, but I was grossed out by the toilet humor. XP It's hard to believe that a lot of exagerrated, unfortunate events can happen in one afternoon and even on a funeral. In real life, I think the funeral wouldn't be that bad if people would cooperate, listen, and show respect. So I say this is exaggerated. The only thing I liked from this movie is the ending when one of the sons gave the speech about their father.

Death Note
5/5
This is an extremely awesome movie. At first I wasn't happy with Matsuyama Kenichi as L, but I got used to it. ^^; Light's actually more evil than how he's portrayed in the movie. He's still the best though. I didn't expect he'd kill Shiori. O_O All in all, plot's great, graphics are great (RYUK'S SO COOL! Haha~), and the actors/actresses did well.

Death Note: The Last Name
4.5/5
This is the sequel to the first movie, Death Note, that starts off with Misa's supposed death but her life was extended because of Jealous. Who would think that shinigami/death gods could have feelings to humans? This is longer than the first movie, it seems, and it isn't draggy like those famous 'recent' movies. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. *lol* The ending's so awesome. Ryuk had the last laugh. I'm so happy Misa-Misa's still alive. I LOVE TODA ERIKA! XD

Disaster Movie (2008)
0.5/5
Ex-boyfriend and I watched this movie in the theater (some time last year), but with free tickets. The only thing we wasted was time. Tsk. ~_~ This movie is truly a disaster. The movie isn't even worth the 50 centavos we paid. >_< There were only very few funny moments in it, but everything else is corny.

Four Rooms
4/5
A bad New Year for Ted the Bellhop. ^_^ Nothing good seems to come out of his night although it started out good when he was forced to have sex with one of the witches. This movie's got everything -- from suspense to comedy. This movie isn't for kids though.

He's Just Not That Into You (2009)
3/5
I didn't want to watch this movie because of the title. I felt like I'm being stabbed numerous times. lulz~ The movie's not really the you-gotta-watch-this-in-theater material. It seems the story is all over. The story is more about meeting guys on the first date and determining if he's interested in you or not. Gad, I think I'm gonna start to worry about my 'future dates.' :|

Anna (Scarlett Johansson) is my favorite character. I feel like I'm like her except for the figure, butt, and boobs. ^_^V Oh! Also the going out with married guy part. No, I can't do that except if the guy's extremely hot and my body has taken control over my mind. *lol* But that's another topic. XD; Anyway, I say I'm like her because of her actions. I flirt with the wrong guy and lead on another then hurt them in the process. :/
Scarlett Johansson, btw, is really hot in the movie. She looked so full and sexy. ♥ Gawd am I envious of her boobs! -

Juno
4.5/5
Juno is only in high school and she found herself pregnant because of her best friend and of a chair. Well, that's the simplest way I can summarize the movie. I suggest you watch this movie. I watched this with my boyfriend and my brother. I think it's best to see it with your special someone too. :) Especially if you're still young. Youngsters should be aware of pregnancy.
0.3
Juno was very determined to have the baby adopted (after giving up on abortion). She finds a couple through an ad, meets them, and settles a deal on closed adoption. Although it wasn't expressed by Juno in the movie, I know it became hard for her, in the end, to give the baby up. Why did she cry, right? She saw the baby. She is sure to have an attachment to him, after all, it's hers. But there's nothing she could do... Even her boyfriend... Because they know it's not theirs anymore. It was really saddening to see them on the hospital bed, Juno crying and Bleeker just hugging her.
The ending was pretty simple. Juno, whether in her best or best, Bleeker was still there for her... That pretty much explains what her Dad told her about what makes couples stick together forever.
I would have given this movie a rating of 5. But I am not much of a Jennifer Garner fan. There's something about her that I don't like. :P -

I was so tired and sleepy that I barely bothered to do any work. :/ I downloaded Let the Right One In as I was itching to see it after I saw the trailer. *_* Now that movie is truly about vampires.

< SPOILERS >
Eli is a child vampire. She lives with her guardian who kills and collects blood for her. That was really creepy. D: He doesn't actually kill them right away. He puts them to sleep first using halotane, ties them upside down, and that's when he kills them -- slashing their neck (like how you would kill a chicken) and let the blood pour down in a big plastic container. @_@ That's just amazing yet scary.
The boy, Oskar, was a neighbor of Eli. They eventually became friends even though Eli had warned him that she can't be his friend. That friendship had turned to something more. When he found out that Eli's a vampire, he wasn't scared about it at all. The only thing he's really scared of is having to defend himself. The kids who bullied him reminded me of Hostel. @_@;;;
I almost cried the moment Eli told him that she had to go. They had a REALLY BLOODY KISS. w00t! XDDD
< /SPOILERS >
I liked the fact that the vampire this time is a girl. She kicks ass and I like that kind of girl. Fufu~
You have to believe the positive reviews about this movie. If you like vampires and you want action, then you have to watch it. Don't worry, it won't give you nightmares or a heart attack. XD -

Moto Kare
3.5/5
Moto Kare is a 10-episode Japanese drama starring Domoto Tsuyoshi, Hirosue Ryoko, and Uchiyama Rina. I am very surprised with the plot since it kind of reminded me of my recent fucked up love life. >_> Although the drama isn't as bad compared to what happened to me irl. Anyway, the series isn't really intriguing and it's not the type that will get you hooked. It's only interesting in a sense that the story is somewhat from Toji's (Domoto Tsuyoshi) POV. We all know that guys aren't always honest with their feelings. :P He tried to move forward from his past relationship that was already 2 years ago, but encountering the ex only brought up the old feelings. It may have been years, but it's hard to blame him when the girl has been chasing him around (even if he's got a gf!) and when their relationship didn't really end properly.
0.3
In some way, I felt like Nao (Toji's gf). She believed in Toji and in herself that she's better than the ex. In the end, not only did Toji lie to her and to himself, Nao realized that she will never have Toji's heart even though she doesn't want to part from him. Gawd, drama! *lol* At least Nao and Toji haven't been dating for years like what happened in my case. Imagine, dating for 3 years and suddenly the ex-bf goes back to the ex. ~_~
The series is a bit draggy and boring, but tolerable. I dislike the scenes when the insert song kept playing especially on the most dramatic scenes. *lol* -

Satánico pandemonium (1975)
3/5
Satanico Pandemonium isn't the first nunexploit I have seen, but the first that I've seen from start to end. The low-budget film was shown about 20 years ago. People had wondered why it was not banned since it is a Mexican movie where Catholicism is strictly praticed (or so I know). For me, I'm glad it wasn't banned at all. XD;

Maria is a young, pretty, and very pure nun. Other nuns idolized her. She was also good in medicine. One sunny day, while she picked flowers, a naked man showed up in front of her. Of course, being an innocent and pure nun, she ran away. The sight of the man though became a nightmare for her as her conscience was invaded with dirty thoughts. She punished herself yet she gave in eventually. Not only did she try to rape a nun, she also killed those who got in her way.
I was not anticipating the ending as I thought everything was happening for real... Wasn't it? Except for Maria, all the nuns look evul. D: Especially when everyone started stabbing her. That was beyond weird (not to mention, she was still able to walk and even lie down with a knife potruding from her back).
Event though I believe anyone who's not familiar with nunexploit will be culture-shocked with this, the movie very much fails cinematography-wise. There could be better (or weirder) films of such and I have yet to find them. XD -

Spider-Man 3
3/5
I watched this with my boyfriend. He was kind of happy with it, but I wasn't nor will I ever be. There are too many unnecessary scenes and EMO-Spider-Man is just wrong. There is too much angst and drama in this film that's not supposed to be. Spider-Man 3 is supposed to be exciting. I'm also disappointed with what happened to Peter Parker's relationship with Mary Jane. *shakes head*

Step Up 2: The Streets (2008)
3/5
I've put off watching this movie because, being not that satisfied with the first movie, I expected it would just be the same to the first or probably worse. Yet it exceeded my expectations. Without the semi-shallow and messy plot and corny script, the movie was (somehow) saved by the awesome street dancing/choreography. My favorite character is MOOSE (played by Adam G. Sevani). True, he's the baddest nerd ever. XD; I haven't heard of him before. After doing a bit of research, I was surprised to find out he's quite famous. I was surprised when he danced in the movie. Damn cool boy. Yes, boy. He's only 15 or 16 now -- 10 years younger than me! ♥ Briana Evigan (she played Andie) comes in as my second fave. It's not her character really, but actually herself. I think pretty female dancers like her are very rare. You know, being able to do street dancing. She's also hot. I like her built.
0.3
I recommend everyone to watch this movie for the dancing and ADAM G. SEVANI. *lol* -

Sukiyaki Western Django (2007)
4/5
I was intrigued to watch the movie because of its poster. XD; Yusuke Iseya looked so hot and cool in it. Anyway, the movie is about action and violence in a cowboys-versus-Indians setting. Some of the scenes and script lines are laughable. Like the first scene, it looked like it was a stage play. I was waiting for the director to shout "CUT!" or something. *lol* Plus the acting of the Japanese actors on that scene were not that good. The movie's in English by the way in spite of the Japanese crew, production, and cast. It was only slightly hard to understand what they were talking about. Shun Oguri is in the movie. That surprised me. Haha~ His voice gets very deep when he speaks English. Out of all the characters, his English is the worst.
0.3
Quite unfortune how the movie isn't that known. The story's a bit shallow, true, but the action/violent scenes do make up for it. I recommend this movie to anyone who would wanna see a cowboy using a samurai sword and a man whose balls were removed then turned gay. -

Superman Returns
4/5
I didn't get to watch the whole movie. I only got to see this by accident on HBO while channel-surfing. I probably missed only 20 minutes, so I can still give a short review on the movie. ^_^ The story is quite simple. Nothing to mind-boggling -- Superman returns to earth to find out the Lois Lane is already with another man (but that hardly matters when she tells him her secret) and Lex Luthor (who's probably the lamest villain ever) is up to another one of his bad schemes. Superman didn't get to fight much against Lex and his men. With the help of Lois, he got rid of what Lex was creating which he should have done in the first place. *lol* I give this a 4 rating because Brandon Routh is so pogi! XDDD (Pogi = handsome/good-looking)

Teeth (2007/I)
3.5/5
TEETH screams "WTF!?!?!??!!??!?!?!" Oh wait, it's more like I'm the one screaming that. ~_~ I was weirded out by the 'abstinence group.' I don't want to think that such could exist in real life because it's totally pointless. A support group on family planning, on the other hand, would make more sense. The story is promising and very interesting yet "those" grossed me out. They can't be unseen! I'm pretty sure you can already guess what I mean.

I want to beat senseless the Dawn character especially when she kept telling herself it's PUBERTY that's causing her to think of sex. ~_~ How annoying. Tobey is a cute and a 'normal guy' character. If he did keep himself from touching Dawn (I would understand if they were in either's house), he's gay. >_> LULz~ Brad, Dawn's brother, would be my favorite character because he's so wrong. He has some of the things I want in a guy, but knows responsibility. :P -

The Cat Returns
4.5/5
I've been wanting to see this movie for so long and I finally did! :D
0.3
The movie isn't the award winning type, but it's an enjoyable one. It's like watching Alice in Wonderland with less weirdness. LOLz~ I was surprised with the talking cat and even more so when a parade of cats visited Haru at her house. The Cat King was a bit freaky. His breed is different as well from his soon. Probably they look like that when they get old. D: The best part of the movie was when Haru, Muta, and Baron were walking on a spiral of crows. It was amazing!
I did not quite understand about Haru having to be true to herself... Or something like that. Does it mean that she must stop being fickle-minded? Meeting Baron has made a great impact on her. She became very mature and I like how she changed.
Muta is a character I won't forget due to his size. The cat who assisted Haru on her way to Cat Kingdom is cute. I thought he's a bad cat, but he was only doing his job. I didn't expect him to cheer with Lune as Haru was able to get out of the Cat Kingdom safely. He got my attention because his ears are like a dog's. XD; Baron is my favorite character in the movie. Gotta ♥ his character; he's such a gentleman! ^_^ I wanna see him again (in Whisper of the Heart!). -

Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
4/5
A simple yet interesting movie about two girlfriends who go to Barcelona for a few months. While in Barcelona, both girls get infatuated with a painter -- Vicky was then confused since she was engaged while Cristina's love life got more than exciting when the painter's ex-wife came into the picture.
0.3
Scarlett looks so pretty in the movie. I guess having a bit of fat here and there isn't so bad for her. *lol* She was blooming! Penelope surprised me because it's the first time I've heard her speak in her native language. Her character and its relation to the painter (she was the ex-wife).
It's a pretty normal film. No effects or action scenes. So I can understand how it could be boring to others, yet it should be given a chance. It wouldn't win any awards if it was that bad. ^_~
