m.globe and Globe’s iPad 2 bundled plans

I was invited to the media launch of Globe’s latest mobile portal, the m.globe, last September 1, 2011.

Sorry for the crap pictures. I only used my phone’s camera because I forgot my point-and-shoot.

Anyway, m.globe is available to all Globe users for free. Users only have to use a single platform that will let them browse their favorite internet sites in their mobile phones. Some of its features are:

  • Prepaid users can have access to their load balance

  • Postpaid subscribers can check their unbilled billing charges

  • Users can get latest updates from Facebook and Twitters

  • Send and receive email

  • Exclusive contents such as live stream of events, movie clips

  • Be able to subscribe to Globe promos without having to remember keywords

To install m.globe in your mobile phone, just text M.GLOBE to 2910 or go to m.globe.com.ph. Android phones with OS 2.1 can download and use the m.globe widget that is also for free. For me, m.globe will be useful to check my unbilled billing charges.

After the launch, all of us were invited to an exclusive block screening of Zombadings. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of local films, so I was kind of hesitant to go. I also have a flight a few hours later that night and I wasn’t done with packing.

I stayed out of curiosity and Joiz has requested that I accompany her. 😛 It was worth it though. The film gave me goosebumps in a good kind of way. LOL PLUS! I got pictures with the two cute protagonists! 😀

The other invitees took pictures with them near the stage. It was dark there, so I requested if they could move to where the light is. But the picture’s still dark, so I said we’ll just camwhore. HAHA~

The picture is blurry, but better than nothing at all. Hrhr~ That really made my night.

They’re so cute irl. XD

Another news — Globe will be releasing iPad 2 bundled plans. They will offer iPad 2 with WiFi+3G and dedicated data plans for it in the coming weeks.

iPad 2

iPad fans might want to watch out for it. 🙂 Here’s my picture again with the two before I end this post. HAHA~
