I forgot 2012’s a leap year. How was everyone’s February 29? Mine sucked so bad. So so bad. I wasted the day lying about due to a very bad headache (or migraine). I wasn’t able to accomplish anything except to further make my room messy. But the good thing that happened in the middle of ‘the pain’ was the arrival of my order of cosmetics. Hihi~ The day ended rather well, fortunately, because of a visitor. 😛 Well, I guess I should still be thankful.
I had a very nice weekend before that as it was spent with friends and my brother.
Pic from Joiz
Usual suspects — Joiz, Kat, and Drew — came over in the afternoon to hang out. Us three ladies discussed our online project while Drew played with his 3DS (I _think_ I want one too!). Joiz, Karen, and I already had dinner plans then. So, since Kat and Drew were already around, we invited them along. We had a big dinner at Isshin. I had my favorite tekkadon (as usual) and tamago sashimi. I also ordered edamame and okonomiyaki to share with everybody.
A dinner wouldn’t be complete without some camwhoring. 🙂
And, yey!, Instax pictures 😀
The following day, I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go out or not. But my brother was really bored and he liked my idea of just hanging out in the mall. Plus, he wanted to have coffee outside. For a change he said.
My brother did a bit of shopping, we had coffee and tea at CBTL, and I got myself a Laura Mercier lipstick. 😀
The rest of the week got better, thankfully. I got to spend time with the ♥ and I saw my classmates and friends back in high school.
Some of them I hadn’t seen in more than 10 years. Man, I didn’t realize until then that it has been that long already.
We met up just this Friday night and had dinner at Mary Grace at Greenbelt 2. I enjoyed my order of chips and Spanish sardines with olives pasta. But they don’t serve even at least wine, so we relocated to Tapella for some drinks before we capped the night. It was great and fun to hang out with them & I would love to see them more often, but there’s something about making our get-together a _rare occurrence_. I do get to talk with some of them from time to time and I see them online too. But meeting irl is a lot different.
After that night, I spent the rest of the weekend at home either in front of the computer or sleeping. My folks just returned this weekend too, so I got loot. 😀 But my Mum left again for a vacation part 2. LOL
Minus anything work-related, that was my week. To end this post, I’ll share what happened on my Valentine’s Day. I forgot to blog this last time. 😛
It was ‘civilian day’ at work so I went in a red dress. Red because that was required. That dress is one of my favorites. I should have bought more when I had the chance. On the right of the picture is a fake red flower/rose that I got after getting jailed. >_> There was a whole day of activities in the office and one was the jail booth. I didn’t notice I stepped on a ‘go to jail’ marker. My hair was all over my face as I tried to keep my dress down. Damn wind. I didn’t know I could bail and I found that out after somebody bailed me.
Under the flower is a Van Laack handkerchief. It is a gift from my guests from Paris and London. I just checked the Van Laack website because I hardly know anything about the store except that it must be expensive. They have this pretty dress worth EUR229 which is about PhP13,000. GAWD. x_x I also received a cupcake from an officemate (who gave me a single-cup coffee maker last Christmas) that made up for the Max’s cake I wasn’t able to get then.
Max’s made up for that, btw.
