Yesterday, I barely accomplished anything except something for work and paying my mobile phone bill when I was determined to do a couple of tasks. That determination is rare, you know. 😆 That’s because the other office where I need to go every Tuesdays (until the end of the month) still hasn’t fixed their air-conditioner. The weather was warmer and more humid because of the intermittent rains, so focusing or doing anything in the already stuffy room was almost impossible.
Anyway, a day late isn’t bad. 😛 I am starting a monthly highlights in the blog that will include what I did or special occasions–Any bits that are worth sharing; just nothing too personal. It would also be a good opportunity to share photos (since I do take a lot!) that I may have not uploaded in any social network.
Started the year with some foot love (and Japanese food)
My boyfriend spent both Christmas and New Year’s with his family and I with mine. We didn’t do anything extraordinary for Christmas because of our crazy schedule. We did, however, celebrate New Year’s on the 2nd of January. Sort of making up for not doing anything on Christmas. 🙂 We had dinner at Isshin then a foot spa at Nail-a-Holics Glorietta. We wanted to have the foot spa prior dinner, but Nail-a-Holics was full until 9PM. Thank goodness for late mall closing time. 🙂
There were very few attendants that night, so my foot spa felt a little rushed. I will save a review of Nail-a-Holics for another post.
A 7+ and getting it skinned
Since October, I constantly contacted Globe for a new phone. My Android phone still works, but might as well get a new one as early as possible knowing the phone I want would be in demand. It did take months for mine to arrive because of stocks issues. Such a pain in the arse really.
Anyway, this is the new phone with a Rhinoshield translucent back protector/film and dark blue bumper.
And someone was extra generous and shared a skin from their iPhone 7 Plus MKBHD Carbon 3-Pack. ♥
My phone is jet black and that black carbon made it look more sweet. 😀
Glam Love’s first vlog
Glam Love’s vlogging plans has now materialized. You can watch the first episode here. Vlogging feels new to me again.
Family dinners at L’Entrecôte and Dekada
The dinner with my parents at L’Entrecôte, which is a French restaurant (or so they say), was around the first week of January. While the dinner at Dekada, a Filipino-cuisine restaurant, was only recently before my gramps flew back to the US. Both tried for the first time, so I plan to write a short review on them.
That long-awaited full body massage
I forgot when was the last time I had one.
There’s a spa we often go too, but friend and I decided to go to The Spa at the Fort. I was due to try them anyway or I might lose my–what I’d like to call–sponsors. 😆 The steam bath was so nice until it became zero-visibility inside the bath.
And the main highlight of my January is my losing one tooth. I have a photo of the tooth, but I won’t share to keep you from getting nightmares. Let me show this funny photo of my dog instead.
I think I should have better name for this monthly series. I can’t think of one though. Suggestions?
