Gratitude Log

Gratitude Mondays: First gratitude log in 2016

The first gift I received, if I recall right, is a jumbo-size Clinique Clarifying Lotion + Pump from my parents. πŸ™‚ I discovered this very limited item in one of the stores in Bangladesh. I regretted not getting it, so I asked my parents to get it for me. When they gave it to me, they told me it will be a Christmas gift instead. Not included in the photos btw.

I’m one of those people who don’t mind receiving books as gifts. In my previous job, I always asked for the then-latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid book in our Christmas exchange gifts. This time I received the Just My Type: A Book About Fonts from the boyfriend. (Also not included in photos, but cover is the same as that in the Amazon link.) Fonts and their right usage are often a big deal to me, so the book is great! I’m excited to read it. But wait… There’s more! (LOL) The boyfriend’s other and _real_ gift is a Pandora bracelet. I was very surprised he chose the bracelet with a shiny ♥. πŸ˜€

I also received a The Face Shop set from my friend in high school who we haven’t hung out with in years; not until the dinner at Smith. Those zipper pouches in different sizes would be great for travel.

The cloths, chicharon, tablea, and Ilog ni Maria soaps are from coworkers. πŸ™‚ Lastly, another pricey gift I received is a Roberto Cavalli watch from my Aunt. A very beautiful watch that’s versatile. Not only a dress watch, I could use it on any day as long as not when I have to walk the dangerous parts of the Metro.

The dinner at TAT Japanese Restaurant with Phoebe and Archie last Saturday. πŸ™‚

And the dinner with Joiz last December 29. We’ve had hectic schedules. but it’s great we finally got to meet before the year-ended. We really need to meet more often like before. :3
