I visited Florida again for my Uncle’s wedding. Our stay was only short that time around since we already stayed somewhat long enough on our first visit.
We were at Loews Don CeSar first since the wedding and reception was to be held there then spent the last night at a relatives’ house before flying to Chicago. Major photo spam ahead starting with shots from the first day which was a buffet breakfast with the family and relatives, then a walk around the hotel and at the white-sand beach, the wedding ceremony, and the reception.

I took pictures of the evacuation route and historic district signs for ideas because, in the office, we have a couple of projects that include creating similar signs. I already assisted in the design of an evacuation route sign for one of the Makati barangays. Then we have the heritage conservation project. I believe we don’t have signs yet for where the preserved old houses and heritage conservation site are.
On to the wedding ceremony and reception:

Day two was another breakfast feast with a short thanksgiving from the newlyweds and their families then another feast at the relatives where we crashed for a night.
I witnessed for the first time a beautiful and sweet beach wedding. I finally got to swim in FL! although it was just in the pool because it was the season of some aquatic animal, I forget, so it wasn’t the best time to swim. I got to walk again at the long stretch white-sand beach by the resort. And there were lots of eating which happens when you’re with relatives. 😛
Our schedule was really packed given the short stay. I thought that when I would visit Florida again, I would be able to go to Miami. Sadly, I wasn’t able to, but that’s already a reason to return. 😀
