Romeo and Juliet J-drama

Romeo and Juliet is the second presentation from the Shakespeare Drama Special. The drama stars Takizawa Hideaki as Morita Hiromichi and Nagasawa Masami as Kihira Juri. This is not an adaptation of Shakespeare’s famous Romeo and Juliet play.

“Romeo and Juliet” is about a female college student and an injured young man she meets on the street. They fall in love, not knowing that the girl’s police detective father is in the midst of a manhunt to find the young man’s physician father, who is wanted for murder. — Japan Times

I badly wanted to see this because of Takizawa Hideaki/Tackey. He became my crush when I first saw him in Majou no Joken. X3 This drama is fairly new and, you know, it seems Tackey doesn’t even change his look. I didn’t even see a tremendous change with his acting skills. Oh, no he’s not bad of an actor. He’s too good that I could just ignore Nagasawa Masami and just focus on him. XD Nagasawa Masami’s character is too childish. Too annoying for my taste. Her character is like of a high school student when she’s supposed to be in college. O_o If her character is about a pampered, rich girl who’s unaware of the real world, then she did well, but the story isn’t about such girl. :| Aside from the annoying girl that is Juri, another flaw I found in this drama is when she escaped from her dad. She could have answered her door first and made it seem that nothing is up. Then when all’s clear, she could jump or quietly exit through their front door. She need not have to run on bare feet. :P

I wouldn’t recommend this drama. Only watch if your a Tackey fan, you like drama, and you lots of spare time.

I’m not a big fan of Tackey but I want to try watching that drama.
