Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré review

The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is said to be a cult favorite as it has been used even by those on TV, big screen, and print. This cream may be used a primer, moisturizer, and make-up remover, which makes it more intriguing. More from the website:

Its formula remains extremely simple and effective with nourishing ingredients that restores the skin’s natural glow and gives a boost to tired dehydrated skin.

The cream works for all skin types, but several websites besides the official mentioned it’s for dry skin. I have oily skin and I haven’t had issues with it. It does not even make my skin greasier.

My tube looks weird because the tube material is thick; it’s not soft like that of a, uhm, toothpaste’s. It’s actually hard to press the tube to get more product near the spout. But the good thing is, in my opinion, it doesn’t seem like there’s air in the tube that sometimes can affect how much product you want to squeeze out (or sometimes the product would just come out by itself when opened). I hope you get what I mean. The material is also durable to prevent getting holes or poked into when you just throw the tube in your bag.

The Lait-Crème Concentré contains oil and natural active ingredients, such as shea butter, beeswax, aloe vera, and soy proteins.

Be it warm or cold weather, this is the best on my dehydrated skin without making it greasier.

The Embryolisse Lait-Crème ConcentréI is mainly my second layer of moisturizer in my evening routine; sometimes I use it like a leave-on mask. Either way, in the morning, my face would look moisturized and hydrated as if I had enough sleep.

Its consistency is similar to a body lotion. It dries after a couple of minutes without leaving a sheen and white cast.

I also use this in my morning routine especially on my travels. This layers well with any sunscreen and foundation I’ve used. It is also my savior when I have dry patches around healing pimples because it prevents foundation from clinging on them.

Below is a hand swatch. I put on too much actually. ;;;

I would highly recommend this for any skin type. 🙂 However, before I drafted this review, I read a few negative reviews. Most of these reviews are from people with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin or prone to breakouts but want to try this, it would be best to do a patch test first.

I got my Embryolisse thanks to porepatrol. 🙂 I want to and will repurchase when I get the chance. It’s not available locally, but Beautylish does. Beautylish has been a good source of cosmetics for me until they stopped shipping here. If they still did, it would be less of a hassle (and less fees to pay) for me. Beautylish offers in 3 sizes and a 15-ml trio. Though the 15-ml is a good option for travel, the 75-ml would be more economical.
