Art Fair Philippines is in its second year and they have showcased 28 local contemporary galleries and 7 highly regarded Filipino visual artists in Southeast Asia. The art fair was held in The Link, Ayala Center, Makati City last February 19 to 23, 2014. Regular entry rate is PhP150 while student rate is PhP50. Certain BPI credit cards entitles one to a free entrance which was how I was able to get in for free. 😀
More photos after the cut.
And the Alice in Wonderland series; what I liked the most from the art fair:
It was also fashion night. LELZ~ Since I went there after verk, I had to wear a jacket over my shirt with an office logo because these people… I should have known and gone prepared.
Free or not, that art fair was worth the time and visit. It’s very much better than the art fair I went to some three years ago. The exhibit was two floors big. National Bookstore was even there with, obviously, art books. Sadly, those weren’t discounted for the event. They have the The Thames & Hudson Dictionary of Art Terms, but moniesss~ I had no budget for it then.
See all my photos of the art fair here. Yeah, there’s more to these. XD
