Feeling: rushed rushed

Several things happened last week that was beyond my control. I should blog about that first, but I’m not ready to face them yet. :(

Saturday was a busy day that got my mind off those depressing things. The first thing I went to that day was the LO convention at Ikeda Hall, UP Diliman. Thank goodness for no traffic, I got there after 30 minutes of the starting time. To my surprise, there was a very long line outside the venue. It’s not like it’s bad, but it was just surprising considering the previous cons had a good number of attendees. ^_^V I waited for about 40 minutes in line and got a major headache from the heat. I thought it was going to rain hard. ~_~ As soon as I got in, I felt LOST. *rofl* There were so many people. I didn’t know where to go anymore. It was hard to walk around even. I’m pretty sure I ended up as a background in one of those cosplayers’ shoots. *sweatdrop* But it was great seeing how much people attended. Some of them I heard, while waiting in line, how they just wanted to see what happens in a yaoi con.

If I was able to get in early, I still had to leave right away for a dinner party in Imus, Cavite. Yeah, from up north to way down south. D: We arrived a bit late due to traffic. There were lots of people in the party most of which I do not know except for my former professor, his wife, and the birthday celebrant. I hardly took pictures during the party because I wasn’t in the mood. The food wasn’t that warm anymore and the dessert was >_> … Plus the gay host was making dirty lamegreen jokes. Why in an old lady’s birthday party?

Here’s a picture of the family with the birthday celebrant:

We stayed for a few minutes after dinner. I played WEWY, which attracted kids, during dessert. We also watched a kids band that played Beyonce and Rihanna songs. I thought they were going to play emo songs due to the get-up of the bassist. *lol* After that, we took a couple of pics with the birthday celebrant then left. Our next stop was The Hobbit House for a fundraiser for Joric who is an acquaintance of my Dad at work. It was a blues night. I enjoyed it at first because I was amazed with the band members and their talent. Later on, it seemed all the songs sounded same to me. ^_^V Short attention span?

I felt icky and wasted as soon as I got home, but I still stayed up late. I don’t remember what I did though. *lol*
