Camera purchases and (late) news on Youka Nitta

Early this month, I bought a Golden Half from eBay.ph.
I was setting sights on a different camera even though the Golden Half was what I really wanted. My order was taking forever. I’m sure you guys know the feeling of wanting something yet it’s like you will never ever have it. I felt that… Good thing I checked eBay.ph. Lucky find!
The camera is so cute and small. It’s only about the size of my palm. If you have no idea yet, this camera takes 72 pictures from a 36-exp. film (48 from a 24-exp. film; you get the drift). Thus the name Golden “Half.”
My latest purchase is the Lomo K camera. Bought it unintentionally on my happy day.
I tried to research about this camera. Didn’t find any information about it except that it looks like a King Regula camera. I’m thinking the specs are the same. Now I just wonder why it has a LOMO name on it instead of Regula.
Good thing I had a flash with me when I bought it. We were about to go home, I tried the flash while we were walking, then we discovered there’s something wrong with its hotshoe. We returned to the shop and had it fixed. There was a shutter problem too, so that was fixed as well. I have a feeling there’s something with its lens too, but will find out after the test roll.
Regarding Youka Nitta, I forgot to blog before about her plagiarism incident. If you haven’t seen the evidences/proofs about her plagiarism, you can check them out here or here. I enjoyed her works at first, but after reading a lot they got a bit tiresome. I’m not sure if it’s because the characters look all the same to me. Hmm… Or were the story boring for my taste? Anyway, this is still sad and heartbreaking news for her fans.

The Golden Half is so pretty!!
but I still have to see it in person because for me the Green one is still the prettiest. hehe.
I guess you are now a collector of Lomo cams!

@Carol~ It is pretty! Small, handy to bring, and is worth it (you can camwhore with it since it takes 2x more than a normal roll).
I wouldn’t really call the Golden Half a Lomo cam. A toy camera would be a good term though. Lomo is a brand, imo. Lomographic Society doesn’t sell a Golden Half.
