I said…
Please comment if you take.
Should I make the font bigger for you to be able read that? A number of people downloaded from
my Christmas goodies, but only 2 commented. Yes,
ONLY 2.

Oh well, I’m not blogging today because of that. It’s because it’s already 2008! I should stop being lazy and delaying my blogging. My posts always end up long. I know a lot of you hate reading long entries.

But before I go further, I want to greet you guys a
HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s kind of late, but that’s better than never. Did I say that right? Haha~
This will be an uber long post due to the pictures. Here’s a linked list of what’s ahead:

And…
The last part of this post that I think you might miss if you decide to skip reading everything
Here we go!
December 24 — Before Christmas Eve, my family and I went to San Beda for mass. We were late for about 15 minutes. Haha~ But other people were more late than us. Some arrived probably about 30-40 minutes before 12MN. D: When we got home, the daughters of our help opened their gifts from my parents (they’re awfully generous) and then we had a feast.

Maru and I had fattening Cerveza Negra, leche flan, and roasted chicken among others.

Lunch time, we went to Makati Shangri-La Hotel where we invited our relatives Lola Neneng and Lolo Oloy for lunch. My brother and I went there first, so we could have a table reserved. We camwhored though before heading to the restaurant though.

We ate at Shang Palace, an
expensive Chinese restaurant with good food. But I’m not much into Chinese food. I didn’t feel very full after the meal unlike my family, lolo, and lola. They really ate a lot.
A lot more pictures
here.
December 27 — Mac came over to attach one dreadlock extension to Maru’s hair.

Then we went to Glorietta to look for big hankies for Maru and then to Greenbelt 5 to
have a photoshootcamwhore. Greenbelt 5 is so nice. I doubt it would still be once all the shops open and everyone starts going there like flies.
More pictures
here.
My parents followed by 8PM to have coffee with us. Mac left by then as he felt shy to hang out with my parents.

I got my Starbucks planner that night.

It didn’t smell like real leather when I got it, but now I can already smell it. The leather covering is what makes the Starbucks planner better than the
Belle de Jour planner’s hardbound cover.
December 29 was another camwhoring day

but we only took very few pictures compared to Dec. 27’s. It was supposedly the day where my Dad’s cousin and the rest of their family will be having lunch here. They canceled at the last minute because other relatives from the province wanted to join too. The lunch was moved to December 30 (the following day) then.
We asked for the list of kids who will be coming just to make sure we have gifts for all of them (we have a lot of little cousins that it’s hard to even remember their names).

We realized we needed to buy more gifts. *bah* I wanted to stay home actually because Mac’s friend, Joel, wanted to go here at home to have his PSP checked because his games kept hanging before he could start playing. I was also feeling very lazy that day. Maru and my Dad persuaded me because of the gift shopping needed to be done. I’m not even good at buying gifts.

Mac went to SM Makati and helped me and Maru choose gifts. It was tiring.

Then we headed to Greenbelt 4 for some picture-taking.
Pictures, pictures!
December 30 — most-awaited lunch with Tita Leah and other relatives.

They arrived two hours after lunch time; we already ate before them which they can’t blame us for since we got awfully hungry from waiting for them.

They all look like they had a great time. The kids were happy with the gifts + money treasure in them.

They also played with Marie. Marie had fun scaring them.

I hope we’ll have another get-together this 2008. I enjoy being with the family and relatives. I think that the current lifestyle of people makes it usually impossible for everyone to be with their relatives. Even though there are a number of ways to contact them, to spend time or be with them is better. Mac came, but Rayton couldn’t make it. We had beer, chips, and leche flan.

Tita Leah and the rest (except Mac) left before dinner. They said they would be going to Mall of Asia.

We had dinner and then went to Starbucks to help Maru collect stickers for his planner. Yeah, he’s still not done collecting. Help with the stickers please?

Mac left as soon as we arrived in Greenbelt 3.
Nahihiya daw siya eh.
The last day of the year has arrived and I still hadn’t done anything productive.

Oh, but I did have some orders shipped out that day in spite of being lazy and sleepy. J/k! My parents waited for me as I searched around Mall of Asia for Air21. When we got home, the helpers were already preparing the leche flan and the other food that we’ll be feasting on during New Year’s Eve. Came New Year’s Eve, we just watched the fireworks on our rooftop while we had Asti.
New Year 2008!

I was only in
pambahay. *sweatdrop*

The crispy pata and sisig were deliciously. :9~~~

Too much firecrackers!

Maru had the Carlo Rossi while I had the Asti — my fave!
I have two videos of fireworks and are already uploaded also in my Multiply — videos
1 &
2. No pictures of fireworks this time, but just videos.
Ayala had the prettiest fireworks I’ve seen that night. Our neighbors and others have pretty fireworks too. It’s really nice how those people have spare money to burn on fireworks.

I’m not wishing them to stop buying. I’m actually grateful because we don’t have to buy fireworks anymore. My family and I will just be the audience.
January 2 — I went out with Mac to meet up with Lesley who I’m really grateful at for purchasing the CDs I so want to let go of.

Not to mention her understanding and patience… Ladies like her are rare.

Then we met up with Iryn (Vanity Garden at Multiply) for the Nana and Ren necklace. It’s awfully cute!

I ♥ it.
It was a tiring day as we went from Makati to Robinson’s Pioneer and then to Pasay. I found out on this day that the C2 1 liter is really Php20 only.

I heard that from Jay, a classmate, months ago. I couldn’t believe it but I do now.
The following day I went out to have some paperwork done. I was hoping to have a lot done that day, but ended up having only one paper signed.

But it was alright since that paper takes time for approval. I had a hard time commuting because there was a huge fire in Baclaran causing the LRT station to close temporarily. I was hoping the trains would resume by 5PM. I had to rush to meet up with Mac at Cartimar. Unfortunately, the train’s last stop is still one-station away from our meeting place. I was forced to walk… With an empty stomach. Eating isn’t allowed in the train and if it was I wouldn’t be able to eat. I didn’t have any food with me except for a candy. I walked as fast as I could to Cartimar. I almost shouted at Mac to quickly give me the food he bought.
Alright, the story of my life ends here for now.

J/k! Thanks to the Starbucks journal (I believe it is more of a journal than a planner), I am able to keep tabs with my daily life-ongoings. I apologize for the length of this post. I’ll probably write another long entry. Haha~ My rl has been active ever since December started. I hope I won’t be too busy the whole year. I already miss my online life, anime, and manga.

(I’m such a nerd.)
