I started watching Kimi wa Petto the other night. I meant to blog, but if I did I would probably have fallen asleep. *rofl* We had a plant visit last Saturday to a sugar processing plant in Batangas. It was actually the whole CE-EnSE’s plant visit and outing, but our industrial hygiene professor asked us to go with them to fulfill already 1 out of 2 plants to visit. Days before, we were all arguing about the payment for the trip. The graduating class (GC) officers (in charge for the plant visit and outing) were charging Php850 that includes the GC shirt, resort entrance/stay, food, and bus fare. Php850 is too much actually, so we were against it. Some of our classmates said it’s unfair of us not to pay because they already did. What if we can’t pay Php850, right? We’re unlike them. I didn’t even hear them complain even once about the fee.

Anyway, I called for Mang Ed to drive some of us to Batangas. Leo and Neil brought cars too, so we had 3 rides.

Then I only got those riding with me to pay Php200/head for the gas and driver. They were all okay with it. Php200 is cheaper than Php850 anyway. Those in my ride are Anjo, Sylvan, Wally, Mark, Mac, and I.

Before Mang Ed and I went to school, we picked up Mac in McDo Evangelista by 5:30. The traffic wasn’t too heavy, but there were a lot of cars already so it was hard to speed up to school. We got there a few minutes before 6. Instead of a convoy, we asked for directions from the GC president and went ahead.

There were 9 buses for the CE students. I don’t know how many people can fill up a public bus, but imagine each of them paying Php850. That’s a lot, isn’t it? I’m so happy I didn’t ride with them. The buses are like those cheap pub’s along EDSA.

It doesn’t have those toilets at the back and the windows aren’t tinted even. Jologs…

We got there about an hour or 2 earlier than the buses. We wanted to go in first, but we were told to wait for them. I wish we just went in ahead because everything got really sucky when they arrived. Ms. Tena, the vice pres. of the GC, was angry at us because we didn’t pay. They asked us to pay only Php400 just for the resort. It seems the gc officers are giving those teachers a different story from ours. We only joined their appointment for the plant visit then after that we’re on our own. That moneygrubbing bitch really ticks me off. Instead of getting inside the plant, they wouldn’t let us because we didn’t pay. Fuckers~ grr. We only got to check the back of the plant to see their waste disposal system. Since only 2 out of 9 buses arrived first, we didn’t have problems going around. But when we learned 5 buses already arrived, we quickly went out of plant area. One of the officers who saw us asked if we are done with the plant tour. We said that we didn’t even go inside and that we’re EnSE students. He said, “Okay, leave already.” Wow, another person to add in my fucking asshole list. We didn’t leave the premises right away. That Tena person wanted to talk to us. Leo went to her and said we’re not going to the resort; that we’re already going home. She made us swear about that. WTF. We’re all sure that the reason why they keep demanding us to pay was that they wanted more kickback.

Xtian saw me while I was talking to the other EnSE students and Mac. He called me and asked if I brought a car and if we’re going to the resort. I told him some of the story. I was getting nervous as to what Mac would say, but he was quiet about it. We just talked anyway and I didn’t even go near Xtian, so it should be fine.

I think Mac saw him in school too. I ignored Xtian. Mac was hitting the back of my knee though. As if he was trying to get my attention; that if I would look to his side, I would see Xtian. Ha~ I’m too paranoid.

After the plant visit, we went to Chinggay’s house to pick up our lunch. Then we went to Roponggi. We almost got the resort to ourselves. The entrance fee is only Php50. The cottage is Php1000 with twin beds. It’s cheaper if we divide the total amount to us, right? That Php850 CE outing is a ripoff. When we were at the plant, I heard the CE students complaining. If you noticed, I only mentioned 7 buses earlier in this post. There were supposedly 9 buses. What happened to the 2? They broke down. The students riding those broken buses were transferred to the other buses and forced to stand up for about 40 minutes of travel. We left earlier than they did in the plant because one of the buses’ ac broke down. I saw the students in that bus fanning. >_>;; I told those CE students that they’re not getting their money’s worth. *shakes head*

By 6:30PM we left the resort and got home by 9:30PM. Some stayed for the night in the resort. Mac and I went ahead though with Anjo, Mark, Raymond, Jay, and Arland. Photos will be posted soon. I still haven’t transferred them from the digicam yet.
