When the Dior Capture Youth skincare range released, I had my eyes set on the Glow Booster. My skin loves vitamin C, and it has AHA. It sold out fast when it became available in my usual Dior store, so as soon as I heard the following delivery included stocks of it, I quickly had […]
I get second thoughts purchasing eye creams because I usually get texture or bumps under my eyes after some time of use, so I do a lot of contemplating and researching first. I gave Ole Henriksen Truth Banana Bright Eye Creme a shot because, to be honest, my favorite beauty influencer with similar skin type […]
Another from Leejiham (now Leegeehaam) item that I was very intrigued with is the Tea Tree 90 Essence. Before I continue, Leejiham is now Leegeehaam–for those who don’t know yet–and has changed/upgraded the tea tree essence content from 90% to 95%. My review is only the Tea Tree 90 Essence version.
Since I emptied the BeautiControl Facial Spa Defend and Restore Moisture Creme SPF20, I switched back to the Leejiham 5 Alpha Control Cream. I already used this a few times, but decided to use up my older morning moisturizer.) The 5 Alpha Control Cream (or now Hope 5alpha Control Cream) is the first Korean moisturizer I’ve […]
Just near Hanagushi is another Japanese restaurant–Kenshin. My coworkers wanted to try Kenshin. Since I haven’t tried the restaurant either, I joined them when they invited me. 🙂 I wasn’t curious with it at first because nothing caught my eye each day I see their menu outside when I go to work (or even back […]
Because of several project deadlines, I had to hold off the last of my Pyunkang Yul skincare reviews. There’s still more work needed to submit very soon, but I’d like to get this up now and move on to a non-beauty post that is my visit at Bern. I saw the photos from my trip […]
The Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum is perfect for irritated, sensitive, and oily and dehydrated skin. Main ingredient Coptis Japonica Root Extract together with the oil prevents evaporation of skin moisture and retains it. I use this most often in my evening routine as the light moisturizer; second to the last in my routine.
I forgot to mention that I’ll be reviewing in order of my application. In case you missed it, I first reviewed the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner. Description I only do a four-step routine in the morning–cleansing/washing, toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen–so most if not all of them has to be hydrating and moisturizing for my often […]
I wanted to try Pyunkang Yul because of the packaging, to be honest. I’m attracted to the simple, medicine-like bottles and jars. Not only is their packaging simple, but so is the ingredients in each of their products. The first time I bought a lot of skincare from one brand in one go has only […]
I’m a sucker for _almost everything_ coconut, so I couldn’t resist the Marc Jacobs Re(cover) Perfecting Coconut Setting Mist. Description From Marc Jacobs Beauty website: Recover your glow, and set and perfect with this next-generation makeup setting mist that combines 24-hour performance with hydrating, skin-loving actives. This fine, micro-mist delivers a healthy-looking dewy glow to […]
I discovered Neal’s Yard Remedies after I saw them in Rustan’s Makati. I didn’t get to browse then, but I did during the Rustan’s Beauty Event. They have hand creams, which increased my interest in the brand. I just ? hand creams! 😀 Luckily, ANA gave each business class passengers with a Neal’s Yard Remedies […]
A lot of friends love the Heimish All Clean Balm. I gave it a go out of curiosity–will it perform as well as my favorite Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm?
I use the regular 3-step Clinique line for many, many years already, so when I get any skin problems, Clinique is my go to. I started getting hormonal acne not too long ago, which gets worse at times, so I researched about Clinique’s Acne Solutions. However, I couldn’t commit to any from the line being […]
