LONG roundup of 2009 [Part 2/2] (1 Comment)

Lately I feel so lost with no hope nor motivation. This is a very delayed hangover from October of 2009.

I know our life purpose is for self-fulfillment, but I can’t seem to be content for that reason alone. This is loneliness speaking, I believe. Seems there’s no point to work hard if there’s no one to share or devote our achievements. I’m sure there are others feeling that way. Anyway, enough about that. I have no one but myself. I am my own comedy character. ~_~

Revoltech Arch Gurren Lagann (2 Comments)

Early August, I reserved for a Revoltech Gloomy Bear as a birthday gift to myself. I ended up with an Arch Gurren Lagann because the store overlooked my reservation and sold off all their stocks of the Gloomy Bear. -_- Contacting the shop was such a headache. Their contact number and email addresses were of no use. I had to ask some contacts a way to get in touch with the shop or its owners. Thank goodness somebody was able to help. Thanks also to Plurk or I might still be at lost today.

I have been wanting this for ages, so I bought it on one payday after seeing it in a nearby toyshop. If you haven’t read the Yotsubato! manga, then you should. You’d wish your future daughter would be like her. She’s the cutest character I’ve come across.

Too much walking yesterday. Thank goodness ankle cooperated. XD;

I told Jan we’d go to Greenhills between 9:30AM-10:30AM, but I had to add more information in the climate change speech which took me long. Jan then had to go to the office to escape the wrath of her father *lol* and wait for me. ^_^V I then decided it was better that I take the half-day off to spend time with Jan instead of rushing to Greenhills and back to the office.

First, we went to Greenhills to pick up my toy reservation. That was the real purpose of our meet up anyway. Haha~ We looked around Shoppesville and Virramall (V-Mall — whatever it is called now). We tried the HK-Style noodles for snack. I had too much chili garlic that I felt smoke would come out of o my nose. *lol* We looked around toy shops once more after that. We also searched for a Globe center because Jan had to file a complaint regarding their broken landline. Since there was none, we headed to Ayala… By bus. >_> Walking to the MRT was a pain especially with MMDA’s elevated walkway.

After the Globe duty at Greenbelt 3, we hanged out near the ‘pond.’ :3 That was the first time I didn’t smoke there! I haven’t actually smoke din days. *feels slightly proud* *lol* Oh, for the LULz~ Bus vandals are sometimes hilarious. XDDD

When I got home, I decided that I get a haircut while I was in the mood. I quickly changed clothes then forced brother to accompany me. XD Going to the parlor ended up in fail though as we weren’t properly accommodated. Lady told us there was a long line of customers and they were shorthanded. Then she disappeared. ~_~ The parlor gives crappy service when their big boss isn’t around. I shouldn’t have gone out anymore. My legs almost gave up on me.

I didnâ€™t think commuting to Greenhills was easy. Haha~ I often went there by car. ^_^V The downside is the long walk from MRT Ortigas station to the puv loading area which is the only thing that will keep me from frequenting the place and spend all my moolah on toys. Jan had witnessed my geekery on those. I almost bought all the Keroro Gunsou plamo I saw and Gundam markers. There was also a cute Tamagotchi toy. Good thing it didnâ€™t call out for me. XD; I only regret not buying one of those Gundam pliers. Yesh, it has to be an effinâ€™ Gundam plier because Iâ€™m a geek. Brother wouldnâ€™t be happy if I did. HAHA~

There’s no news yet if these will be sold elsewhere other than Japan. If it were, one would be around $50. O_O Expensive, but the cuteness is tempting me. *_* Isn’t there a DS Tamagotchi game similar to this?

What I should I buy? Help? (2 Comments)

*gah* I can’t believe reading LJ flists has become a task. I even had to include that in my planner. ~_~ It’s the fault of PLURK — ruining my habit of checking forums and reading LJ flists. Also, my ISP doesn’t seem to like LJ or LJ has become buggy. Most of the time, user icons won’t show making my friends’ pages look dull (sorry!). So I started reading my flist earlier and I realized I’ve missed a lot of posts. Why do LJ keep a minimum of posts in flists!? Damn them! If only I can access friends-only posts in Google Reader, it wouldn’t be a problem.

Two weeks ago, I got new glasses (for my astigmatism). The lens grade of my left eye had to be increased again. My Dad said I should get new frames and just have the left lens of the old frames changed. The old one will be left at work while the new (and red) one I’ll be using often. ^_^ Dad said the new frames lack “formality.” Haha~ That’s me in the pic with my new glasses. CHU! (I apologize for the crappy picture. I used my very old webcam. *lol*)

Last week I had an appointment in a construction firm. The one who set the appointment apparently filed a leave for the day and I had to speak to someone else. That is of no problem, but I’d prefer to talk to the person who set the appointment or if she told me earlier that she won’t be at the office. I got there just on time. But they made me wait for 2 EFFIN’ HOURS. WTF!? The person I talked to gave this arrogant feeling. She didn’t address me as an engineer though I believe she should have because of obvious reasons. That meeting wasn’t a barkada gimmick or whatever. ~_~ We discussed something about money. She snickered when I pronounced the number “3.” Why? Because I can hardly pronounce it right with my retainers on. HOW RUDE! I don’t want to see her face anymore or I might b!tchslap her. GRR~

For my birthday, I got myself a:

Keroro Gunsou DX-01 Plamo

Haven’t gotten to assembling even a single character. I decided I should take this plamo building seriously because these stuff don’t come cheap. ^_^V I need a model or wire cutter or at least a nipper. I’m thinking of hand-painting these, but spray point seems a better option. Airbrushing would be the best choice, but that’s too expensive.

A family acquaintance will be coming to visit from Japan. His name’s Peter, he hangs out 24/7 at Tokyo-U (I think he teaches there), and has a project here in the Philippines (through ADB or WB). We met him through my Dad who invited him over for lunch months ago. He’s cute, btw. HAHHAHAHAHAH~ XDDD; He has a lot of achievements considering his age. I think he hasn’t even reached 30. D: Anyway, yes, he will be coming over and he asked my Dad if there’s anything I want him to buy for me. :DDD I have to pay him, of course. *lol* I WANT SUGGESTIONS, LOVELIES!!!
