Busy 2 weeks, WWW, and cute Horikita Maki (3 Comments)
I don’t understand why some people still use this kind of url, example — www.shabby.multiply.com. I used to see a lot with Filipinos plug their links like that and I’m glad most of them don’t anymore. I’m not saying only Filipinos do it, fortunately (or unfortunately?
). See the picture in this blog post. The username is already damn long and the person still adds www. 
Odd when most sites would indicate that there is already no need to use the www to have a short url. 
I find it even a drag to add www with my domain. Maybe later I’ll change my domain to class B.Horikita Maki is so cute in the picture located at the bottom of this scan:
This was during a press conference with Aoi Miyazaki about their upcoming 49-episode drama Atsu Hime. 49 Episodes is damn long, but I’ll probably enjoy watching it since I find both girls cute.
Eye candies. The garage sale we had last Nov. 30 was successful.
We sold over Php8000 worth of clothes and bags. Most of the stuff we sold were my Dad’s clothes — slacks/formal pants, shirts, jeans/maong, polo (short & long sleeves) — all of which are branded and imported stuff. When I helped sort out our stuff, I told them not to include in the inventory those that look really worn out. An old man is extremely lucky because of the jacket he bought from us for only Php150. It had a removable wool lining inside. It’s very useful on either cold or just rainy days. Then the bags we sold are mostly from US. We bought them, used them once, and then just kept stored them in our cabinets. Such a waste… It was my first time assisting in a garage sale. Haha~ It’s funny how people haggle so much over, for example, a shirt that looks so brand-new. We had Php20 shirts and some folks were haggling them for Php10.
Then for those priced at Php10, some would haggle them for Php5. It was insane. But I’m glad people bought a lot of our stuff. I hope they all take care of them like we did. :3 My Mom is the best in taking care of our things although she forgets where she stores some of them. I invited people to check us out or at least visit me (especially those within the P’que area), but only one was nice enough to let me know she wouldn’t make it. I don’t see what’s so hard in doing that. If you have friends or acquaintances inviting you, even if you can’t make it, let them know. It feels stupid to be ignored. Nasayang pa ang oras sa inyo. Buti nga naalala pa kayo. Pa-special kayo ha!
You may think I feel bitter, but this doesn’t only apply to me inviting people over at the garage sale. It’s just a garage sale, goodness. But there have been certain events that I wanted to go to or wanted people to see. I always end up asking if they’re already dead because they never reply. Heck, so I’m not only bitter, but cruel even for thinking like that. 
Mac, Rayton, and I went to SMX last Sunday to meet a fellow member of Aarinfantasy.
It was also the second and last day of the H3Con held there. I didn’t go inside, but it seems there weren’t much people? *shrugs* After that, we walked around around MoA to give Rayton a small tour. Haha~ It was his first time there, so we kept teasing him about it. We also had frapuccino in Starbucks (I need more stickers for I wanted to look for a good birthday gift for my Mom, but I couldn’t think of anything good. So we went home for dinner. My Mom and her high school batchmates held a Christmas party here. There were lots and lots of food! Haha~ Rayton and Mac ate a lot while I had mostly red eggs and onions. :9 Then when 12MN striked, my bandmates and I sang a real slow Happy Birthday song to my Mom. The boys left around 1:30AM. Mac and I met up again in the afternoon to look for a gift. We walked around Glorietta until my legs and feet hurt. 
Fortunately, we found something that was really nice. It’s like an egg tray, but made of wood. It could hold 6 eggs/candles. I will take a picture of it when I get my hands on camera.Mac had a little drama after we bought the gift. He got mad at me for a reason he shouldn’t be. *bah*
Then around 9PM he left while I went to Isshin for my Mom’s birthday dinner. Good thing we ate there. I have been craving for Japanese food for the longest time. It was a supposedly nice night, but drama ensued with my love life.

Earthquake :P (2 Comments)
There was an earthquake about an hour and a half ago. My room’s in the 3rd floor, so I really felt it. ^_^;;; I thought there was just a huge truck passing by. Then when I felt my room shake for 3 more times I knew it was already an earthquake.
I think that worsened the headache I’m having now. My monitor suddenly shook while I was reading my LJ flist. I happen to come across this YouTube user who has a lot of old Pinoy TV commercials. “AnWala akong maisip na old commercial na gusto makita. Haha~
I can’t wait for my download of Nobuta wo Produce Special to finish. I want to burn this series already.

Glasses are expensive *sighs* (2 Comments)
My last life-related post was almost a week ago.
I know I’ve been busy, but I forgot what I have been doing. Haha~ This period, exhaustion, and lack of sleep is really not good. *sighs*I’ve been busy both offline and online. Starting off with online stuff, I finally updated my billing information in my web host. I haven’t been charged for hosting since June. Surprisingly, they didn’t delete my account. I guess it’s their fault for not being able to send out a notification (if they did, it might have ended in the spam folder that I often empty out). No wonder I had this feeling I should backup my MySQL databases, galleries, and files.
When I checked my web host’s site, I saw this site where you can checking your billing information and charges. I thought the username and password would be the same with my FTP, but it isn’t. I emailed them about it. Their billing support said I haven’t been transferred to the new billing service or something like that and I haven’t been billed since June. I asked about the latter. They didn’t answer. I guess they’ll let it pass? The gallery that is hosted in my domain will soon be deleted. I was able to upload about 90% of the pictures there to my Multiply account. I won’t have to worry about webspace anymore.
Eventually, my other sites will be moved under my domain. Yay! I like it when I get things organized. Haha~I just watched the live special of HanaKimi. Why isn’t Oguri Shun with them!? It would have been more fun to watch if he was there. But seeing Ikuta Toma is enough. He’s even sitting beside Maki Horikitty~~~

On offline/real-life matters… I started attending review classes (for board exam) last week. The schedule is TTh from 5PM to 8PM and Saturdays from 9AM to 4PM. The Saturday schedule is supposed to be until 6PM, but my classmates complained because the only break we get is lunch. Brain overkill. But even if we have an early dismissal for our Saturday schedule, the professor extended our meeting until Dec. 15 I think. That’s fine. I could hardly take it last Saturdays. My eyes were going in circles. Haha~ XD; It was hard to hide. I wanted to close my eyes for at least 5 minutes.
My Dad woke me up very early the other day. He said we’ll be having an eye check-up. I was still sleepy and feeling tired. During breakfast, I thought I was slicing a part of the hotdog but no… It was the middle part of the handle of the spoon I was trying to slice. I was that sleepy.
Anyway, I had my check up. I know I have troubles with my left eye and it was confirmed. I don’t know how many lenses I tried because the grade is higher than my right. When we found the correct lens, it was a mismatch for my right eye. I didn’t even walk more than 3 steps with the glasses on. It made me extremely dizzy. @_@ I tried more lenses until we could find what’s most comfortable for me. *gah* This is the third time I got astigmatism.I can’t believe lenses are frames are so expensive now. I even chose a cheap-line frame, but it’s still expensive. The price is in 4 DIGITS. *gah* There was a 50% discount, but the amount including the lens is still a major shock. Not to mention, the prescription glasses of my Dad is even more expensive than mine. We could buy an electric guitar with the total amount.

Ikemen Paradise! (3 Comments)
I finished the Japanese version of the Hanazakari no Kimitachi e drama in 2 days. I was getting frustrated with IRC because my download speed was as slow as dial-up and the download kept disconnecting. I could hardly leave the computer. I had to redownload over and over. Well, I forgot that I only had to reset the modem. Anyway, the series is very fun and there was more drama than there was in the manga. I only remember the drama part in the manga in the near-ending when Mizuki’s about to leave the school.I think, in this drama, Mizuki and Nakatsu would have been a good pair. Sano’s feelings to Mizuki was so sudden. Haha~ It’s as if the lovey-dovey feeling between him and Mizuki are kind of lacking. When I saw that sudden _moment_ in the last episode, I thought, “Why!?”
I thought Nakatsu would be good for her. It’s different in the manga though because, as far as I remember, you could see the progress in Sano’s feelings towards Mizuki. I guess Nakatsu just had more scenes than Sano. I’m pretty sure there were more Nakatsu and Mizuki moments. (Read more…)

Patapete blogged about it days ago. Now for the live action series/dramas/movies I wanted to blog about. I’m looking forward to most of these (actually all of them as I am curious!). First off is Mahou Sensei Negima! Live Action. A trailer is out. I found the Mahou Sensei Negima video from this blog. I’m not really impressed and I feel like I got excited for NOTHING. Negi’s hair looks bad.
Good news to Kenichi Matsuyama (L of Death and Shin in Nana) fans! Aside from his upcoming movie, L, look forward to the live-action adaptation of Kamui Gaiden. Kamui Gaiden contains the side stories to the original Legend of Kamui manga. Yōichi Sai will direct the movie. He’s best known for his work Chi to Hone. The shooting will start this November and release will be on 2009. (Source: ANN) I didn’t really like him as Shin in Nana though he was good in the Death Note movies. I can’t wait to see him in L and in this movie too. The next movie (I bet some of you will be surprised and won’t be too happy) is Voltron: Defender of the Universe. It’s said that with the success of the Transformers (2007) movie, New Regency Productions’ interest in doing this has increased. Justine Marks is the scriptwriter for this live-action. His plot description — …a post-apocalyptic tale set in New York City and Mexico. Five ragtag survivors of an alien attack band together and end up piloting the five lion-shaped robots that combine and form the massive sword-wielding Voltron that helps battle Earth’s invaders. — I think the movie will be more fun if he stuck with the original plot instead of making up one and just using the lion robots. City Hunter, after several adaptations, there will be another but a TV series this time. The main actor will be Jung Woo-sung. I think I have the City Hunter anime and manga. I hope I can get around to watching the anime before the series is shown. A movie adaptation for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni will be shown on 2008. It’s a suspense/thriller story which makes me want to see. There are ‘fans’ though who are against this movie. They even have a petition to stop the movie production.
Mousou Shoujo Otaku Kei will have a live-action adaptation! For those who haven’t heard of this title, based on ANN — The romantic comedy manga series centers around an obsessive fujoshi (female fan of manga and novels featuring male-male relationships) who falls in love with a “normal” classmate in their first year in high school. — This will be a fun watch! I hope it’s a series.
The news doesn’t say whether this will be a movie or series.BL FANS! The ff. is major news for you.
I got excited when I read about two BL titles being made into live action movies. First is Takumi-kun. Since Takumi-kun is a collection of novels, the movie will be based tentatively on its first story. The second is Ai no Kotodama by Konno Keiko. Here’s a short description of the 2-volume story:After graduating from high school, Tachibana and Otani have finally confessed their love for each other and are living together. However, their co-habitation is totally ruined when they run into an old high school buddy, Yuki. Otani has always been suspicious of the friendship between Tachibana and Yuki. And honestly, his suspicions may not be that far off… –B-U Manga
Hopefully when they’re released, they’ll be ripped and subbed right away unlike Boys Love.
For old news (I say old because I bet I’m the last to know of this among my LJ friends who are fellow fans), China will create a live-action TV series of THE PRINCE OF TENNIS. I wonder if this is true. If it is, DAMN… I’M NOW MORE EXCITED! I can’t wait to see F4 and Makino again. Kazuya will be in the movie too. But don’t you think it’s odd to have a new character and him being close with the F4 when we didn’t get to see him in the shows’s previous seasons?
