As mentioned before, New Year’s Eve celebration was simple and like the previous years. The only difference — we didn’t have fireworks. Fireworks and firecrackers aren’t allowed in our barangay. Browse here if you have no idea why.
We had lots sausages, ham, salami, wine, fruits, and a seafood pulutan cooked by Dad.
During the preparation
Seafood pulutan — contains squid, shrimp, mushrooms
It’s like Soiree Beaujolais at home 🙂
Dessert prepared by one of our helpers — Mango Graham
(or whatever it’s called)
The feast is not complete without…
We were still able to see a lot of fireworks from our rooftop. I tried to take some shots, but most seem fail because I can’t zoom with the GF-1. 🙁
I didn’t dress up unlike the rest of the family, but I wore a nice pambahay shirt. 😛
Me and the Mum
Wine-ing and playing with Marie who seems to be interested in my cellphone
They’re all dark-skinned except for Marie LOL
There’s the vuvuzela XD; Marie was kinda scared of it.
Dad set up our gear, but I didn’t play with them. ^^;;;
Maru & what happened to my drumset
There are a few more that I didn’t post. All pictures are uploaded here. Got food shots from your New Year’s? Please share the link. 🙂
