XP Some people just don’t listen. STEALING IS BAD!
Most Manila residents must have seen or heard already about the EARTH DAY JAM 2008. I just found out about it today. But I did not see nor hear its ads, except from Alodia’s blog post asking for opinions about photo theft. These will explain everything:
The photo was used without permission nor is there even any credit. Tricia, the photographer, is asking everyone’s help on this matter. Read her blog entry on this. I have heard of others who went through the same incident, but not with n event with a lot of sponsors. O_O
The event’s for a good cause. But that doesn’t mean they could be forgiven for stealing. XP The production (or whoever’s in charge) is offering the model and photographer VIP passes on the free-admission event as compensation for this problem. :/ Imo, that isn’t even enough. If it were that simple, we’d have to start worrying over our artwork and start placing huge watermarks on them.
