Daily: Does life get any better? XP (Comments Off)
Feeling: tired
I read from a BBC online article that the fear of the number 666 is called hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia. I don’t want to bother knowing how to read that. I do not even know anyone who has that. I’m guessing all those extreme anti-satanist/satan/demon/devil are.
It’s been a long week. Last Sunday, we had a make-up class in Fluid Mechanics. Gatsby said it will be from 9AM to 12NN and 1PM to 4PM, but he dismissed us at 5PM. My legs got restless and I couldn’t stand sitting from 1PM to 5PM. I wanted to shout at him in rage, but I had to refrain myself. What benefit can I get that from that aside from getting to leave the class?
Damnit. I want to get through Fluid Mechanics, so I won’t have to bear with all these make-up classes anymore. If he’s got a make-up class, it should be done in a resort or somewhere we wouldn’t be bored. 
After the century-long class, I went home right away because I had to summarize 3 chapters from a book about industrial waste water treatment. In the jeepney, there was a guy in basketball outfit that stared at me. >_> Then an Arabic-looking guy rode the jeep. I didn’t mind him.Then I felt someone looking at me. When I looked at him, he was staring at me. I tried not to let it bother me. I dropped off at Libertad, saw the guy in basketball outfit watch me as I crossed the other lane, and when I stopped to wait for another jeep the Arabic-lookin’ guy was behind me and asked for my number! I was so surprised that I instantly told him, “No.” XDDD; I felt kinda bad after, but I hate raising hopes to guys. It won’t do me any good even to give numbers to total strangers. Even more so to guys who happen to ride the same jeepney with you.(Read more…)

Daily, Games: School, fight w/ Mac, and looking for a PC game (Comments Off)
Since Thursday, the days have become very very tiring. It might be from the lack of sleep that I haven’t made up for. *shakes head* I wonder when I will the day come for me to have a very long sleep. Even while sleeping I feel restless. Though I want to sleep longer, my body won’t let me. I wake up exactly after 6 hours of sleep.
This week started out good with Monday being a holiday. Mac and I just hanged out in Glorietta, smoked, and watched all the conios there. (Sadly, I don’t know how to spell conio right. *lol*) We also searched for the Petit Monde shop because I found a dress in the Petite Monde SM Manila branch that I wanna wear for my Tita’s wedding. It’s like a baby dress.
So we found the shop, but they didn’t have the same dress. We went home around 5PM. My dad was already looking for us (me and Maru). Tuesday was good. I thought it was going to suck because I had to go to classes again. But the professor for the first subject was even. Even in the second and in the last. Although my going to school went to waste, it doesn’t matter. My brain wouldn’t be able to register the lectures anyway. Wednesday, another school day, but I only had one subject, so I went to Mac’s after. We just hanged out, smoked again, then I went home around 8:30PM. I didn’t expect that the night would get bad. =_= Jhan and I were exchanging text messages. We kinda discussed about Mac’s misunderstanding about me and Jet. When I was only _telling_ Mac about it, he got really pissed and said he’s breaking up with me. Damn. Things got really fucked up that night. Luckily, I was supposed to have 7:30AM laboratory, but I’m one of the exempted students so I used the time to go to Mac’s place. But we already made up that night when I told him everyone always leaves me. I think he’s gotten sympathetic when Phoebe messaged him that she and Jhan are backing off. They don’t want to be one of the people he’s jealous of. He probably felt bad about it. Anyways, things are all good. I thought I’ll have another bad day when I was told we’re supposed to pass a research paper yesterday. Yesterday, a Friday, is “Mac Day.” I spend all my Fridays with him. Though, if I have to go to school to wait for our professor to pass our research then the chances of being with him is slim. But it was cool. It could have been my karma for not attending Gatsby’s class last Thursday. Speaking about that, he was telling me I might fail his subject due to my absences. I only have like 2! He went blah-blah-blah… I told Mac about it and he got mad. He said I should show him what Gatsby looks like, so he’ll beat him up. 
Someone teach me how this works please. I’m also looking for a fantasy PC game. I won’t be able to bring the PS2 in Chicago. I would be lucky if I can get to buy a PSP there or something, but a PC game would be my option for now. I’m bringing my mom’s laptop. Suggestions, please. It doesn’t have to be an online game. I also prefer RPG.

Let’s see if I can catch up on typing everything that happened to me lately. I haven’t been blogging because I spend most of the time lying in bed. Just reading or watching manga, anime, or Japanese dramas. School is tiring and having practices for our gig last night added more to my pagod.
*coughs*
So far, I managed to finish Peach Girl.
I shed a tear as I watched the ending. Who would have though she’d end up with that guy. As for my manga reads, I read Replay (finished it and kinda happy with the ending), W-Juliet (slow-paced, but still good), and a few PoT doujinshi. Speaking of PoT doujinshi, BLAST just released Careless of Venus. It’s a FujixTezu oneshot. Don’t read if you dislike the pair. I’m no fan of the pair, but I can’t just be choosy with the doujinshi for Blast’s projects, right? I’ll probably quit #korean-manhwa when I’m done re-editing Red Lion V6C3. I’m not that happy working with the group anymore and I want to fully concentrate on BLAST. Maybe angely would be happy about it. I only joined that group because of her. It was #korean-movies at that time. Movies I’ve seen recently — Memento Mori and Survive Style 5+. I downloaded Memento Mori because I read several good reviews about it. Aside from it being a “horror” movie, there are some yuri elements in it. The yuri thing was right, but where’s the horror? I was wrong to believe that this movie will scare the freaking hell out of me. It was boring. The kissing scenes, all that yuri, and the part where the girl chanted memento mori kept me awake. The latter made me expect that whoever was trying to hold the girl was going to do something perverted. *rofl* If I were to cut out some scenes from this movie, this movie would have lasted less than an hour. You’re better off watching Survive Style 5+ w/ your boyfriend rather than Memento Mori. Survive Style 5+ is an odd movie. It’s so weird, you wouldn’t quickly figure out what’s the whole point of the movie. There are several stories meshed up in one movie. They’re all unrelated to each other, but they somehow got connected in the end. When I watched it the second time around, with only forwarding to the 3-second sex cm and mostly about Reika Hashimoto, I finally understood what it mean. My brother suggested some thoughts too. He said the lesson in the movie is simply — that whatever happens, life goes on. The things around you happen because, whether it’s your fault or not, you have to get over and accept it; face the consequences of your fault/s.
Reika Hashimoto’s so pretty. She blew me away the first time I saw her. Why is she mostly on Taiwanese/Chinese movies? o.o The role she got for Survive Style 5+ suited her. You wouldn’t notice that her acting is kinda crappy.
I noticed it when I saw a trailer of one of her movies in YouTube. But I heard her speak in English! Wow~ I’ve only seen Densha Otoko. I highly recommend this Japanese drama. It’s so touching. I cried to most of the episodes. It’s hard to believe that this is true. I wish there’s some news concerning about the rl Densha Otoko and Hermes. I wanna see pics of them! I saw the site containing the messages in the forum. It’s like… WOW. I’ve seen Hyori’s latest music videos. The Get Ya and Shall We Dance. One of them she decided to stop performing, right? There was an issue that it was copied from one of Britney’s songs. I don’t listen to Britney, so I have no idea. I only like seeing Hyori’s face and sexy body. I can’t imagine how would she look like when she gets old. *rofl* Maybe there’s something better in her 2nd album than that Shall We Dance song. I think the video’s poorly done. Get Ya was kinda cool. She might do good (or better) if she just performs rock music.
Get Ya gave me that idea. Damn, I’m going to make a damn long post today. I’m going to type quickly as I could w/o even bothering to grammar-check and all that because I wanna start watching Jigoku Shoujo or continue Ergo Proxy. :O
I’m having a lot of weird dreams lately. Nightmare-ish as they’re mostly about Mac ignoring or leaving me.
One of the dreams I could hardly forgot was this marriage setup dream. My parents set me up with an old guy. I used to have a thing for older, but nice-looking guys. The guy in my dream is really a lot older than me. He’s got a good built. His face though I can’t remember. He’s probably an ok-looking guy. *shrugs* In the dream, my family and I went out on an outing. They rented a separate “house” where me and the guy can stay. My mom was even cleaning the master’s bedroom for us. I even cried. I told my parents I don’t want to do that marriage thing anymore. It seems I only agreed to because it was their wish, but I couldn’t because I wanted to be with someone else. I couldn’t break it out on the guy, so I tried not to do _anything_ with him. I asked to go out to the mall with him, but it was to search for someone to save me from being with him. I guess I was subconsciously looking for Mac in my dream. The other dream was hella cool. It was like Battle Royale. We had weapons and we rode on motorbikes. Instead of saving ourselves, we had to fight in groups. I only remember Mac and my brother being in my group. I was the one leading them. I was the most destructive one, I can tell. The coolest thing was I easily killed the guy they all feared. Demashitaa! PowerPuff Girls Z starts airing on July 1.
This might be a wrong site to link, but it has the character list. Hehe~ We had a gig last Saturday at Club V… Where all the hiphops are supposed to be. Even though we played so late, there were still a good number of people left to watch us. The night started out badly because some of my bandmates pissed me off… Like trying to leave everything to me. *sighs* At least Jackie was supportive. Mac, somehow, when he saw I was getting ultra-pissed. But I understand his excitement being that it’s his first time. He rushed to his friends even when we arrived in the location. Jackie’s performance was good as well as Mac’s. Oh, did I ever mention that Mac’s already our vocalist? We performed (in order) I’ll Be Here A While, Amber, Ex-Girlfriend, Underneath It All, Spiderwebs + Sunday Morning medley. All-time audience faves. The host was so excited, he was singing and even playing with us.

Novels and Fiction, Reviews: By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept by Paulo Coelho (Comments Off)
I also knew that from this moment on, I was going to experience heave and hell, joy and pain, dreams and hopelessness; that I would no longer be capable of containing the winds that blew from the hidden corners of my soul. I knew that from this moment on love woud be my guide — and that it had waited to lead me ever since childhood, when I had felt love for the first time. The truth is, I had never forgetten love even when it had deemed me unworthy of fighting for it. But love had been difficult and I had been reluctant to cross its frontiers.
This the first time I’ve read a book that is related to the Catholic faith except the Bible, of course. The book doesn’t merely concentrate on the 3 high beings we Catholics are aware of. It discusses about the feminine side of God — the Goddess — which could be the Virgin Mary or other female religious figures that other religions have. The female protagonist is torn between her love and her love’s strong faith. It was either he become a priest and share the gift he has or marry her and live a normal life. They were childhood friends and they haven’t seen each other for a very long time. She didn’t have any idea where he has gone to though they kept in touch by exchanging letters. It was hard for her to be with him at first, but, later on, she learned to accept him and tried to be open. As she did, she found out a lot about him. Instead of being greedy of wanting him all to herself, she decided it was best for him not to leave his seminary and continue spreading the gift… But she still didn’t want to lose him.
They made a very good decision in the end. If you want to know, you should read the book.
There were parts that barely made sense to me. Some I just had to skip. I was more interested of knowing what will happen to the two; what decision will they make. This book is really worth reading. I would have to see the other books written by the same author.
