K. Wasabi: My, Mocha’s Desire @ Ciboney Bar (1 Comment)

(Click on the pic to see the photolog.)

We’re back on the music scene! :D Thanks to, hrmm, Empire Productions for this gig. We finally had the chance to perform again after all those busy months. I got nervous for about 15 minutes, but I settled as soon as I stepped on stage. Probably thanks to Willie who kept distracting me because he was blocking our audience. *lol* I kept telling him to move away and not to block our view of the audience.

Our playlist:
More Today Than Yesterday (Goldfinger)
Sunday Morning (No Doubt)
Spiderwebs (No Doubt)
Superman (Goldfinger)
Come On Eileen (Save Ferris)

Burigs didn’t make it (for the second time), so I had to sing. After singing two songs while playing the guitar (Boyet had no idea how to play the songs, especially Sunday Morning), I was almost drained when it was time to play Come On Eileen. I kept running out of breath. Baka. I was laughing while singing which I knew isn’t really good for me. Last time, when only Roland, Jozen, Maru, and I performed, I could sing really well. We even had a bunch of No Doubt songs played back then. Anyways, I believe it was lack of practice. :P

I was happy to see the people dancing and singing along while we were performing. ^_^ They enjoyed all our songs especially Superman. We were one of the few who got the audience jumping on the dance floor. XD *feels proud* A lot more happened, but they’re not related with our performance. I have to stop blabbin’ here. The rest of the pictures are up at HyukTa.net Gallery. A few pictures of other bands are posted in my gjpix.

Anime & Manga: Pictures of the protest (Comments Off)

Arvy and I :D

XP Yesterday was very, very tiresome. I feel sick and annoyed at the same time that I can barely concentrate. Somehow, the yaoi and Pheromania Syndrome got me amused. I wish someone will buy me AN-94 with grenade launcher, any AK-guns, grenade launcher, or 2 9mm pistols. He/She wouldn’t have to worry because I’m going to love it, marry it, and use it a lot. I’d love to become Dante (Devil May Cry) if it’s just possible. *sighs*

Take a look at the pictures for now. It might enlighten you a bit. :P

Movies: Finding Neverland and Nana (Comments Off)

Thank you, Arvy, for buying the dvd for me. When I get $$$, I’ll buy the original when it comes out (by next month).

I wasn’t prepared for the drama. ~_~ I watched this movie twice. The first time with my Tita Sandra. The second, but only on a few scenes, with Boyet, Jozen, Ed, and Nina. The movie is really good. It never occured to me that there is a big story behind writing Peter Pan. Most of us would think it’s just an adventure children’s story, but Peter Pan is J. M. Barrie’s summer with 4 boys and their mother. He had greatly affected their family. It was kind of tragic, but touching. If you watch the movie and analyze it with Peter Pan, you will understand that Mr. Barrie’s writing should to be understood between the lines.

Johnny Depp’s amazing as ever. XD I believed he was only very good in doing roles such as Jack Sparrow (or maybe Willy Wonka). But he’s amazing here. I totally liked the dancing bear (♥ his mustache *lol*), how he took care of the boys and played with them. He’s really good at playing multiple roles. Kate Winslet also did a good job. You can feel the motherly love from her. Hehe~ The only surprise for me was the last movie I saw of hers was the “lesbian” movie. I forgot the title. She was still young there, so seeing her play the role of a mother made me think time really goes by fast. ^^vvv

I recommend this movie a lot. it’s nice to watch this with your family, a friend, or a relative. Watching it with your boyfriend or girlfriend is cool, but don’t make it as your Valentine’s movie or something. It’s NOT mushy.
:P *doesn’t make sense at all*

Someone directed a link to the cast of Nana. Tomoki Maruyama and Tetsuji Tamayama look nice. ^_______________^ Tomoki Maruyama looks perfect as Yasu. I hope his acting won’t be disappointing. Will Tetsuji Tamayama be wearing a wig? Or is that an old picture of his in the site and already sports a long hair now? One of the guys is also in Last Quarter (co-starring with Hyde). Hiroki Narimiya was it? I can’t wait for the movie to come out. Based on the characters, I think they’ll be focusing on around volumes 1-4 of the manga. (About Sachiko!? ARGH!)

Today’s V-day. *lol* If you’re wondering, I don’t have a date. And never will I on a Valentine day. XD
