Anime & Manga, Daily, K. Wasabi, Music: I want PoT, DC, & Naruto please! (Comments Off)

I should have bought Detective Conan: The Magician of the Silver Sky when I saw it in one of the bootleg stalls in the mall. ^^v I’m catching up on a bunch of manga and anime. I just got done burning my 33rd manga cd. I still have lots in my hd. It took me about 3 hours to organize all these files and figure out which are complete.

I don’t have any new PoT episodes, so I’m getting my fill by visiting fanart sites.

Site of the day — Maybism. There are some nice ones here like this Fuji & Inui art. But who’s this? It says on the filename, Tezuka, but the guy barely resembles him. *sweatdrop* It might be only the hair color.

Also, he looks like he’s going to cosplay.

Today’s my brother’s birthday. I forgot of getting him a birthday gift because I’ve been busy answering my uber long Mech. assignment. He plans to have a small celebration this Saturday, so I could make up for it by then. I wonder what’s nice. Should I cook? Hmm… But I don’t have any specialty. T_T

Jon of Neighbors called yesterday to ask a little background about K. Wasabi. I was nervous I couldn’t answer him straight.

But he’s really nice & seems understanding. I’m glad he invited us. I wonder what/who gave him that idea. Lindon (Humble Sauce) and I were exchanging text messages last night. After he found out we do No Doubt covers, he’s inviting me to jam with them! I’m so thrilled!

First he invited me to have a recording session (back-up vocals) with them &, now, this. I’m kinda paranoid though. Blame my dad. He said Lindon’s just inviting me because he’s got a crush on me. >P I dunno when it started, but I’ve been feeling I really have no talent w/ music at all. When Lindon invited me, I thought, “Wow! I got recognized.” & I forgot that bad feeling. But it’s back now. *sighs* I don’t have the looks, but if it’s the guys’ reason for inviting me… Well, thank goodness… I’m getting somewhere, somehow. All these guitar & vocals thing are a stupid waste of effort. Oh well, I can’t wait to meet someone who will recognize me for my talent.

Not only that, but for who I am too. *tee-hee*

I burned yesterday my 33rd manga cd compilation.

I have about 15 GB more of manga in my drive. I can’t burn them all yet because they’re still incomplete. I should have at least 4 volumes of any long-series manga before I burn them. Crap, I’m missing PoT so much. I WANNA TRADE FOR IT! I’m so behind that I don’t even know if it’s going to end soon or not.

Daily, Music, Plugs: Today seemed like my rest day… (1 Comment)

Plug: Music Plasma — If you love music, you’ll like this site. But it’s kinda odd. I searched for 311 & a lot of “related” bands came up including Nine Inch Nails & Hoobastank. Oh please…! NIN _is_ rock, but more of industrial. Hoobastank’s “rock” in its own way… I haven’t listened to them much, but I heard they’re more of punk or maybe emo, so how can they be related to 311??? That’s profanity against 311!!!

ARGH! Not only did I accidentally delete the Jeepney Joyride video, I also accidentally deleted some pics of my bandmates & my guitar effects. >_P How saddening.

My mom found a young trumpet player for us. He’s only a high school sophomore, turning 14 some time soon.

His dad already agreed to this. We now have to see if he wants to join us. He’ll have to go through an audition, of course, but I WILL surely accept him. We do not have other peeps to choose from anyway. It’s for the upcoming gig & it’s best we give a lot of preparation for this. It might be a good chance to get invited again. We’ve been playing for _years_. It’s been long, but this is a good chance to be recognized.

Earlier this afternoon, we went out to check my mom’s new clinic. It looks okay and I can’t wait for my mom & her partner to open it. I’ll hang out there after my lab on Fridays. Aah… Nothing really happened today. Just the norm. T_T
