I gave one of my bracelets to Jo-em (or Jo-M?

I don’t know the spelling!). It’s the first time I gave something to a person I barely know. ^^v I wonder if he wears it.

Notice how lazy I am to blog whenever there are a lot of things going on?

The acoustic group contest last June 10 was nice. There were a lot of participants that the program finished almost 12 MN. We were asked to prepare 2 songs. One for the semi-final (Everybody Wants To Rule the World by Tears for Fears) and another for the final round (all-time fave — Sunday Morning by No Doubt). We were the third performers (it seems my lucky # is 3 ^^). I got a bit nervous on-stage. The only way for me to calm down is for the audience to clap/cheer for us loudly. So I said good evening _sweetly_. Puhaha~ And I tried to give them one _fugly_ smile. That did the trick.

There were also some guys shouting my name.

We were supposed to be the winners, btw. I’m not saying this because I’m sour-graping or whatever. Nap (the semi-known showbiz newscaster) announced the winners. He called our number yet he called out a different group name. It didn’t matter to me at all, but when I went to my mom & relatives seats they were ranting it should have been us. My mom went over to Nap to ask why he called for another group when the third performer was actually K. Wasabi. They both checked the list and she saw # 9 (the # of the called winner) was written over our #. That Nap was known to have made a scam previously and he made another scam there. *rofl* I didn’t feel really bad about it because the people knew who’s really the winner and I got good comments about our perf.

Also, I was happy Roland, Noel, and BJ were there to watch. I’m not really close to these people, but they gave time to watch us.

My mom didn’t bring the digicam, so I don’t have pics of the event. My Tita (Aunt) took pics & short vids with her cellphone though. I’ll post them up here when I get a copy.

We had another gig last Saturday. It was a BLAST! We performed only 3 songs, but the crowd really enjoyed watching us.

They kept requesting songs, they rocked to our Down (by 311) cover, & they sang along Love Song and Amber.

They even wanted us to do more.

Carlo did a very good job in Love Song. He sounded different and it was a lot better than our previous acts. I shouldn’t forget to mention Jozen’s fab rap in Down.

We got another offer on June 26 @ Freedom Bar. I hope a lot of our friends will watch us and I hope the people will enjoy our show again.
