I still haven’t transfered (sp?) the pics from the digicam. I keep forgetting. Ugh. Anyway, Jhun’s my new friend.

He’s from another band. He called last Saturday night (too bad he missed Carlo) and was only supposed to ask if we could play on June 12, but we ended up talking for an hour. He asked my band’s history and about the members. He’s very nice and he highly praised K. Wasabi because we play ska.

I haven’t given my answer yet. Roland and Jozen should bother to call!

I know I should do that. (Read the very first sentence in this post.)

I wonder if Carlo won’t perform with us then. If so, then I have to think over how our playlist would be. The 311 covers are out and maybe Come On Eileen. If Maru will play the drums, Jozen will have to do the keyboards. We have very limited time to teach Jozen and for him to practice it. What if we do acoustic versions of the No Doubt songs?

Maru and I have been practicing those, anyway, out of boredom. Hehe~ Although, we’ve been practicing acoustic songs for a contest on June 10 @ MIT Gym. It’s a fund raising for St. Rita Chapel (MIT chapel). I wanted to join Sam & Jepoy, but they told me outsiders might be allowed. Then I thought, “Wow, I should invite my bandmates then.” I even called Roland (he was the easiest to contact) on my cp. He was hesitant at first. The cash prize was the magic word though.

While I was waiting for the registration form, I asked if outsiders were really allowed. The woman said I should contact whoever-he-is and ask. So I did. He told me that the contest’s only open for MIT students.

I’m getting depressed again. I don’t think you could say it’s one of those moments because this is becoming frequent. *bah*
