Daily: I hope it’s okay now (Comments Off)


HyukTa.net had server problems since early morning til noon yesterday and I ended up blogging in my livejournal. A snippet from my recent post:


I think it was last week I was exchanging sms with Reg. It seems it has been a month since we last talked. I invited him to our gigs and asked how he was doing til we went to the topic of our love life. He asked how mine is. I said it’s okay, but there’s still a few that confuses me. Then I asked if he’s got a girl already or if he’s interested in someone. He answered, “Yeah, but let’s talk about yours. Who’s the guy?” He was so surprised when I said it’s Carlo.

Reg: Why him? I thought you didn’t like your bandmates.
Shabby: What? It just happened and I do NOT dislike my bandmates.
Reg: How did it happen?
Shabby: It’s a long, complicated story. Anyway, what about you? :) Reg: Me? I’m going to become a priest.

Is it because he knew the band’s golden rule and I broke it? Why the heck am I in this list?


I had my first (and should be the last) absent in CE Docs. Great. >_ I ♥ them so much, that I _did_ what they want. I should get something exchange for that. >P The things I do for them. Dammit.

Anyway, I dislike complaining. And I hate myself whenever I do.

Before I joined the band to practice (I was in my room the whole afternoon), Burigs called and she asked how I was doing. I’m glad she called ‘coz I was in the dumps. I asked her if she wants to go to Xaymaca this Saturday. She suddenly got excited thinking we’ll be playing there. I said no and CBI will be playing there and it would be a waste not to see them. I also told her we could go boy-hunting. *lol*

Shabby: Let’s go boy-hunting!
Burigs: Huh!?
Shabby: Well… (I was thinking she would mention Carlo.)
Burigs: I don’t wanna go boy-hunting with you.
Shabby: Why?
Burigs: Nothing.
Shabby: Why!? Tell me.
Burigs: It’s nothing. Really!
Shabby: Dammit, tell me why!

(After a few more tell me’s…)

Burigs: Because if I find a guy and we’re together, he might just go after you too.
Shabby: WTF
Burigs: True!
Shabby: Am I like that!? Do I take other people’s love interest???
Burigs: Well… No… It’s just…
Shabby: Did I do that to you!?
Burigs: Whatever. I don’t wanna talk about it.

If you’ve read my previous (you’re lucky if you have the password to my private entries) entries, you know what we’re talking about. I felt bad again. Hmm… Something related, Roland told me that my parents know about Carlo. I asked him how they found out and he said he heard one of them saying Carlo’s my boyfriend and stuffu. He barely remembers though, so I bugged him to try and remember. Maybe my parents have the hint, but being sure about it? I don’t think so. Because if they are, they would have asked a lot of q’s.

BJ: I don’t think I noticed your sister. All I saw was Mike because you both went to our table. *lol* I barely noticed the peeps sitting near the “stage.” ^^v Sorry!

Nikki: *the shabanana waves* Mwehehehhehehheh~ Gotta lurvvve that nickname. XD Don’t kill the surveys please!!!

Toughie. Person #1 would be LG. He was my first love after all, even though it was an unrequited, one-sided love. -_- My feelings for him has faded away. The only reason he still lingers, at times, in my mind is because I regret not telling him my feelings. It will prolly make me forget him totally if I did. ^_^ Person #2 is Nico. Haha~ He crossed my mind again. Extremely physically attractive, sweet, protective, caring — how I could just forget him? It sucks he’s a major show-off. Welps, these are just the people I wantED to spend the rest of my life with (no person #3). It’s different from who I want to spend the rest of my life with now. ^_~
[2] if the one you love loves someone else, what would you do?
It depends if we’re in a relationship. If we are and he found a new love, I’ll throw a fit then sulk and be depressed. There’s nothing I think I can do. But if we’re not in a relationship, I’ll be happy for him.

[3] what was the biggest mistake you have done?
I’m too nice. It’s hard for me to say “no” that I almost sold myself (to the devil). *lol* I’m sort of exagerrating, but it’s somewhere between those lines. ^^v

I should have said no.

The day I got a new phone. (Pics 1, 2, 3.) I kinda dislike it. I miss my ol’ 6100 or my Motorola Timeport. My friends are enjoying using this though ‘coz of the cam. ^^v We had band practice too. I thought Carlo wouldn’t be able to attend, but Jozen and Roland picked him up, so…

May 15
I had a freakin’ quiz in CE Math. Another failure. XD I met up with Pebbles because she wanted to watch our band practice. I remember I rode the wrong jeepney. *lol* I had a long walk to her school, but it was worth it. I was able to pass by Rizal Memorial Stadium (or whatever the name is) and saw Taekwondo students taking the promotional test. I just had to stop and watch the kids. Some guy was looking oddly at me because I was smiling and feeling nostalgic — my former classmates (including LG), the promotional tests, my first and last knuckle push-ups, and the Saturday practices from 6-9 PM. Funny how I miss it even though the practices were a pain. >__>

Then we argued. I was very hungry, but he wanted me to go to sleep. Hehe~ I got some sleep around 7 AM when Hazel found a good spot on my bed (Jenny was hogging it all night). I slept in my ‘rents lovey-dovey-couch. *lol*

K. Wasabi’s gig at Freedom Bar! XD

Thanks to BJ, his sis, his bro (I’m just guessing), and Mike for coming to watch us. ^_^ It was a blast. People cheered for Sarah a lot. Hehe~ It wasn’t surprising since she’s the first only girl vocalist who performed there. We had 2 sets — we performed Sarah’s first and the second w/ Carlo as the vocals. BJ gave me flowers after our first set. I was removing the cables from my Digitech when I saw a guy walk towards me. I couldn’t see his face due to the lights. I saw the flowers though and I thought, “Flowers for Sarah?” I was about to help the guy look for Sarah ‘coz I didn’t want to be the person who will hand over the flowers for him. I stood up and saw it was BJ. I smiled and asked him who the flowers were for. He only said, “Shabby.”

o_o

Even though we knew each other, I still thought those were for Sarah. The crowd almost went berserk after he handed me the flowers. I almost went berserk/crazy myself because I didn’t like that much attention.

May 20
K. Wasabi’s gig at KSP Bar and another at Club Indios (w/ Neighbors and CBI). I think only 6-7 bands went to KSP Bar due to the bad weather. >P We’re the first performers and we’re awfully not satisfied with the outcome. Not because of the crowd, but because of the equipment. Stupid microphones and freakin’ drums that had to be “blocked” by 2 amps so it wouldn’t move anymore. Unsatisfied as I was, I met some nice people to make up for it. *lol* I wouldn’t meet any of them if it weren’t for my brother and Carlo forgetting to bring drumsticks. ^^vvv

The gig at Club Indios was rather impromptu. I called Luv through Jun’s phone to ask if the May 21 gig was going to push through so we could prepare. She said it’s postponed and I should just go to Club Indios that night to watch Jun. I told her we’re on our way to KSP Bar and she suddenly “ordered” me to ditch it. She said we should just play at Club Indios. She kept forcing me and I thought it’s bad to turn her down because she’s the one forcing us, not the other way around. *sweatdrop*

If we were unsatisfied with KSP, in Club Indios it was DISAPPOINTING & DEPRESSING. The instruments are okay and the set-up was even on a terrace. It was cool. Our PERFORMANCE was the biggest disappointment ever. Argh. Burigs made a mistake with Just A Girl, Sarah gets confused, stopped and Roland and I got confused too. It was a _fudgin’_ obvious mistake. I should have told Burigs not to sing the songs she didn’t practice. We argued after that and she told me she knows the song that it’s no big deal, but I said what she wants to happen is impossible — not practicing and only showing up during gigs? Wtf. When I told her that the gig at Club Indios was an audition she went, “You should have told me earlier.” Meaning, she’s not being serious at all. WTF.

Ack, there might be something wrong with my ears. I think Calvin sounds like John McCrea of Cake. o_o Only Kaye could tell if I’m wrong.
